broke my cherry tree. Not just a limb or two. The whole damn tree. Nothing but stump. I loved that tree. Gave me tastey cherries every year.

We got snow. How much is hard to say because of all the wind and drifting. Power was out for hours and schools will be off for at least two days.

Nice try. IF you lived in Vancouver...you wouldn't have had to deal with snow even once this whole year.

I've never grown a fruit tree. Don't you have to have two, a male and female in close proximity? Or is that only hollies?

There's something sad about losing a tree. Will you plant a replacement?

The tree was there when I bought the house and it is (was) the only cherry tree on my property. Not sure if I will replace it or not. I tend to kill green things.

Fellow Colorado-an here... I'm in Lakewood and buried. Can't FIND or SEE my car... gosh it's fun! Campus is closed too -- first time in like 10 years!

BTW, If you want another cherry tree, I'll see if my mom has any cuttings from hers -- if they survive that is.
