The European Madness Festival

The gayest the better.

If I ever enter this contest, I'll just ask myself What Would Brian Boitano Do.

OK, so Russia won. Oh, well. Atleast next year we'll have artists wearing clothes.

WHAT??? We got more points than Finland??? I don't believe it!

The UK last again.

It's nice to know that we have annoyed most of Europe...

I just heard the UK commentator's thoughts on the news. What sore losers you people are. LOL :D

The UK commentator is IRISH!

I don't think it was because the UK lost but because the voting system is now so biased that a good song can't win if it's from the wrong country.

Personally I think the UK entry was crap and deserved NUL points but there were other songs that deserved much better than they got.

The higher votes from most countries can now be predicted for next year's contest even without knowing what the entries will be.

I hope that the UK does not compete next year or is eliminated in the semifinals. The Eurovision Song Contest has tended to reflect political groupings in the past. To a certain extent that was understandable. A Swedish song is likely to appeal to Denmark, Norway, Iceland; a song from part of the former Yugoslavia is likely to appeal to other Balkan countries - but now that process has gone too far.

I think that Russia would probably have won anyway but the rest of the voting didn't reflect the quality of the entry - as a Eurovision song.
