Besides choking, how does stress manifest itself? I should be stressed all the time, I lost 15 pounds in the last week. Jodessa, my closest friend, becomes hilariously twitty. How about you?

Where do you come up with these Myst.....not that I am complaining, keeps me entertained for hours on end.

In answer to your question, I lose weight.....I need more stress in my life.....lol

Yes, why did you spell "question" incorrectly? Do you have Turret's Syndrome?

My stress usually involves, losing weight, loss of appetite, rapid loss of attention, losing anything I had in my hand five minutes ago, i.e. my car keys, scrunchie, phone.

I've been noticing little grey hairs, I'm only 19!
I would also say that I become a nervous little stress ball and I end up messing up anything I do!

Oh, hon, I'm in my early 20s, and I already have a ton of gray hair. Don't worry about it, Clairol works wonders.

Stress, and how we deal with it?
Hmm. It depends on what is causing the stress.

Work? While at work I have noticed, that when stressed by a customer, I hum. Christmas carols. Frosty the Snowman is the first level. If ya hear me start in on Jingle Bells, run to the nearest exit. Remember, I work with scissors in hand most the day. I also become friendlier and happier, the kind of clerk you want to slap cause she's so damn cute and friendly. Inside I am seething and wanting to use said scissors, but outside I get whackily friendly.

Home Life? Not really much stress there. But when it happens, and it does no matter how rosey I paint the picture, I get quiet. Go in another room, read or shut off the lights and sit in the dark for a few minutes till the first stage passes. Really the only stress I get at home is either when one of the guys does a typical "guy" thing, like forgetting what I just said two minutes ago, or when they forget to pass a message along. That... "oh yeah, she called three days ago too. Sorry." You know. it isn't often but it happens. Or when the three of us are on a trip or day adventure and the two of them won't make a decision. Grrrrrr... I end up making it. Or when I tell them which way to turn to get where we want, and they don't hear me, and we get lost. Though that one is funny. I don't drive so I guess they assume I don't know where anything is.
Oh well. I usually sit in back with a book and ignore them.

Any other stress? Ummmm... not really. No kids, no money problems, no school. So....

Well, that's how I deal.

If I get frustrated at anything else I simply write. Write, write and write. Good, bad, it doesn't matter.

Though I like Jaymes solution too.

I get mean. You know that, Sis. You get pretty snappish, too. Like the time around finals when you were a Junior and thought you were going to fail and Joey McCaffrey wanted to break up with you if you didn't have sex with him. You got a little snappish with me after I sabatoged his car and broke his arm. Hmm. Did you have sex with him? I realize he had a tongue like a snake, but the whole nose thing.

Well, his tongue was devilish.... But he wouldn't touch me again after you broke his arm. I think it was a turn on and he set his sights on you. I think that was the clencher before you put sugar in his tank.

Damn, I just realized it was effects of stress, not dealing with it. Ugggh.
Effects of stress? I get friendly. Honest. I get that way cause I know it confuses whoever is stressing me.
But loss of appetite? Weight loss? No. But I wouldn't notice. Due to a permanent condition I lose weight off and on easily, and rarely have much of appetite.
I have noticed lately grey hair, but I am 37 so I can epect it. And you know what? It is all in one streak? kinda cool. I bet in a few years people will think I dyed it that way.

Stress Effects

Pacing, gnashing my teeth. Then I start finding food to chew on.

Recently it was insomnia. Not fun.

There have been times in the past when I thought my hair was fading or falling out more rapidly.
