Unfortunately, we don't have the ability to delete the advertising spam being coughed up in this thread

False advertising at that.

For any newbies that are reading along, I said just the opposite of what Grand_High_Poobah, AKA, souries main alt posted. Also the AIR contest is a fake made up by scouries to promote himself as usual. If you will note in his signature that he is a multiply winner of his own contest.

He steals the stories from the real contest to make up his entrants. There are no prizes. Not to mention the fact that he throws out whole categories he doesn't like and anyone who speaks the truth about him. Then he uses his own secret fudge factor to pick the winners.

No wonder he wins. Cheating is his stock and trade and that is one of the reasons he has never won a contest. Not to mention his cardboard characters and his juvenile plots if you can call them that.

Incest is his stock and trade but he can't even win a monthly contest for all his bragging about his false numbers and jacked up position on the favorites list. He's the clown prince of clown princess, uh, princes.

Have a nice day scouries. We will have a fresh page soon but you will still be and idiot.

Seems you come by your problems with consistency and continuity in prose quite naturally, scouries. Praising one minute, calling a thief and a hack the next, back to praising a post or two later.

Cybil, party of 42. Right this way. We have these darling coats with long, long sleeves for you :D

And, back to the thread.

Still no new stories. C'mon y'all! Time's a wastin'!

( he says as he's still working on his  )

I accidently lost a line of white space in my spreadsheet when doing a sort last night, and that threw off my formulas that calculate the averages and such, so what I posted last night didn't include the currently highest ranking story.

Corrected on the actual tracking data for that day, but I'm not going to repost the corrected numbers. I'll just move forward with the data from tonight.

Average score currently stands at 4.19 with a median of 4.18.

We have 4324 votes on contest stories for an average of 173 and a median of 83.

Contest stories have accumulated 383,163 views, with an average of 15,327 and a median of 7,625

Stories in the contest have been favorited 56 times, and 214 comments have been posted.

Okay, "Legend's Victim" and "Kiss of the Spider Woman" are approved and up. I don't have much hope for them. I think my non-contest story is better and the one's I wrote for Summer are much better. But at least it may get some interest in my others.

Hot A. I. R. Award

I saw that two of the greatest writers who ever entered a contest here are Andtheend and WmForrest, both winners of the prestigious A. I. R. Award for writing such hot stories.

I can only hope that I can win the highly coveted, hot A. I. R. Award, too.

Wow.

I saw that my Earth Day non-consent/reluctance entry, "The Show Must Cum On" showed up after only about 6 hours. I guess the trick is to submit at 1:30 in the morning.

I wrote this, my third entry, in several sessions based on a detailed outline that came to me all at once. My wife says it's my best story yet. I therefore have high hopes for the contest! Please read and comment.

I'm going to read "Legend's Victim" and "Kiss of the Spider Woman" now. I like voluptuary_manque's other stories. I hope I don't get too discouraged by the competition though ;)

Sometimes, the best stories are the inspired stories, the ones that you write, as if you have a fever.

It's an added bonus that you're wife shares in your passion to write.

Too many writers and readers hide the fact that they write and read erotica from their spouses or significant others. I'm not embarrassed to tell anyone that I write dirty stories, er, I mean, erotic literature, of course.

Man, my views are way below average, (I'm guessing that anything not incest is below average, though), but I just hit 5000, which is usually my personal goal, so that's good, and I've noticed some new votes on other stories of mine, so perhaps the contest is bringing attention to other stuff I've written. Unfortunately, I've never written a story like The Four Seasons before, so I hope I'm not giving readers false hopes...

My score keeps swinging around wildly, though. Much more so than any other story I've posted.

Yes, views are very category specific as to numbers and if you thing your score has swung wildly, wait until later when the sweeps begin. :D

There are other categories that get plenty of reads, anal, exhibitionism and voyeurism, erotic couples, depending on the story, BDSM, definitely Loving Wives (lol), if you can take the heat, and Romance is a big draw here.

Don't be discouraged. You just started writing. It takes a while to build a fan base. Trust me, I know because every year, I change my name and lose fans, while gaining new ones.

Good luck to you.

Working on it. 9000 words and wrapping it up. If not tonight, this weekend for sure, then off for editing. Then, I can finally relax and read!

I just finished my fi The story is rst draft of the first story, and I will edit and submit it tomorrow. Over 4,100 words in three days, counting today. The story is 8,600 words long before editing. Unlike some people, I tend to increase the size of stories, because I add small details, wanting to make the stories more believable.

Scouries will like this story, because it is brand new, with strictly new characters and is totally about the theme of the contest, although he may not like the message the story carries. He will hate the other one I expect to submit, because it is about two characters I have written about before, and only marginally about Earth Day.

I;m not going to lose any sleep over that. :)

Out of all the categories, that's the one category that I hate writing stories in the most, Sci-Fi, even though I was a Star Trek, Twilight Zone, and Outer Dimensions junky.

Good luck with your story. I'll give you a vote, when it posts, Box.

"Kiss of the Spider Woman" is SF. Just sayin' . . .

Anybody stressing on the average votes/views, keep in mind that about 1/4 of the currently tracked stories are in LW or Incest, two of the highest vote/view categories on the site.

Once more stories come on board, that average will drop.

It's not Sci Fi. The first line is a correction that I didn't complete. It should have said " I just finished my first draft of the first story. In fact, it's Romance, and so is the other one I intend to enter, the one Scouries will hate.

I rather like Sci Fi, and I have written about five of them, all with tongue in cheek. :D
