My local winery makes a white called Symphony. It's a tad sweet but not overbearing. It's my go to wine. I'm not a huge fan of reds. I can drink a whole bottle of a white and be fine. One or 2 glasses of a red and I have a headache brewing.

And no, my self felt awkwardness tends to disappear with alcohol.
