Anyone else watch that new show on USA Network with Anthony Michael Hall?

He plays a character that awakens after a six year coma. Whenever he touches someone he gets these premonitions or visions of their past/future or whatever.

It's actually pretty well done. I've seen two episodes now. Any other fans?

Do you find yourself wishing evil things upon the Sheriff?

Yes I did.

But I didnt like the girlfriend that went off and got married.

She could have tried to wait.

Great show. Looks like Anthony Michael Hall pulled it together.

How do you think David Ogden Stiers (Spelling?) character will develop? Good? Evil?

Is it based on the Stephen King novel?

Yes it is.

Not too much like the movie though.

And the David Ogden Stiers (Spelling?) character will be evil.

How long did she wait? 5 minutes? She met the guy in the hospital when she went to visit him!!! That's just wrong people, wrong!

Cyber - Yes I think it's being advertised as based on the King book. I've not read them so I don't know how "loosely" based it is.

MN - I see Charles Emerson Winchester III as pure evil.

In the book version, she waited something like 5 yrs.

Darth Charles!

Heh heh heh.

Can't wait.

I think he could be one of the more interesting characters.

In the show she has a five year old kid which is actually his, not the Sheriff's.

And that newspaper reporter lady is just annoying. I have a really good friend who is a reporter and if he acted like that the cops would shoot him!

*edited twice because I can't fucking spell tonight

I didn't realize the show was on the air already, dammit.

I loved the book, the movie was alright, but it's been years since I've seen it.

Is it too late to check it out? Have I missed too much?

Damn, I really need to start watching tv again.

They've only aired two episodes. The new ones are on Sundays at 10 pm here. I do believe they are repeated at other times during the week so check your local listings. If you get to see this episode, you only missed the first one which probably won't matter in the long run.

It's pretty close to the book so far... but I think the next episode will begin to stray from what was in the book because in the book 1/2-2/3rds of it dealt with the Dodd killings, then the last part dealt with him trying to eliminate candidate Stillman.

If you remember much of the book, you won't have much trouble picking up the storyline.

I think it's pretty good, although I still expect Anthony Micheal Hall to ask some girl if he can borrow her underpants for 5 minutes.

Hello people.......

Is Christopher Walkin chopped liver here? Anthony can't compare!
It was better the first time!
