Geek Pride: step sibling/mom was on a cult tv show

Another day, another idea:

Family gets married and it looks like the kids have nothing in common. MC (I was thinking a young woman) is a huge fan of a cult Sci-fi show that only lasted a few seasons but lately has been getting some traction and re-evaluation. There’s even talk of a reboot. So one day our MC is watching one of her favorite episodes and the villain who was played by a surprisingly good child actor comes on screen and with the new blu-ray release she notices under the makeup, they are strikingly similar to their step sibling.

Turns out, step sibling IS that actor and has been living in obscurity ever since.


So for my specific spins on it:

1. Step bro is the actor step sis is the fan. He used a pseudonym for his acting and while he admits he does look fondly on his performance being on a cult show means that at the best of times he’s getting a small royalty check and at worst, he’s being invited to tiny conventions or asked questions he’s really not comfortable with.

Stepsis meanwhile is over the moon. She had a crush on him when the show aired (in a puppy love kind of way) and she can’t deny, he has gotten quite attractive now that he’s grown and despite the fact he’s not that comfortable with people finding out about his role, she can’t help but think of all the fan projects she could have him on…as well as some some more personal fantasies.

I figure he turns her down but then his former agent calls: It’s a soft reboot. In other words new actors and main cast…but they are setting it a few years in the future meaning if he nails an audition he could have his role back.

Only thing is…it’s a sexed up darker reboot as well and the last thing people remember him for is being a kid. They might not buy him as some skeevy version of his character…but he could always do a cameo.

I think with that set up you’d have a climax be an 18+ or 21+ after party. Pictures aren’t allowed but things can get pretty wild. She invites stepson along and during the party, he sees her kiss former costars, step on fans and even dance with some fans sometimes for money and sometimes just for fun. Drinks start flowing and stepson winds up joining in the party…where he defines out that his stepmom introduced him not as her stepson but rather her boy toy. He’s shocked but then her former costars start hitting on him and even try and entice him into going back to their rooms. Stepmom intercedes but stepson is so shocked and annoyed that he pulls her into a dance and kisses her passionately while he grinds on her.

They get back to the room and stepmom and stepson apologize but they also come clean: for stepmom, she uses cons to go wild and have fun. She’s realized that she and her husband are better friends than lovers so cons are where she cuts loose. Sure there’s some networking and she does like seeing her fans but she also likes getting to be desired.

This year she didn’t want to give that up so she took stepson. And…she liked teasing him and making him squirm behind the camera.

Stepson meanwhile admits he’s always had a crush on her and while he’s ticked about the deceipt and her teasing him, he only wants her more now and he doesn’t know how to do with that.

So stepmom tells him to close his eyes and she changes into a clean but sluttier version of his favorite character and tells him it’s quite simple: they’re at a con, a little drunk and both of them are horny and tense in a hotel room. A lot of ways to go with it. I myself would go slow slow burn. So slow I'd put a warning on it that there is little erotic content. Just chapter after chapter of lusting, teasing, misunderstanding.
