The Crossover (closed for such_a_bad_man)

Jack was a little surprised at Vixen's admission. He got that impression early on, but he hadn't thought that he'd changed her mind so fast. When she stopped he allowed a beat of silence to pass before he replied.

"Vixen, thank you. I know that had to be hard for you to say, but I'm glad that you did. I am so glad I found a partner for this case; I don't think I could have gotten this close without you. I'm glad that you can see past the mask now..." He smiled warmly. He wanted to hug her, but it didn't feel right. Plus, he wasn't sure if she would let him. It was one thing to make that admission; it was another to allow that level of familiar contact.

"For now... we should get going." He said, moving to the balcony off of the game table area. It was a wide patio with an exterior wall that reached up a few stories to give the area some privacy at least on this side. Under other circumstances, this area just outside the door might look like a runway. There were no plants or deck furniture. Nothing but the long walkway that opened up on the far end where it wrapped around the building out of sight.

"Okay, hop on..." He said, turning his back to Vixen. He kept his hand on harness, his finger poised over a button.

Jack's smile made Vixen smile too. She was relieved that he wasn't put off by her admission, but when he said they should get going she was glad. Seeing him at the school with Jack that morning had really stirred up some things in her, and she didn't trust herself to behave rationally at the moment. As he turned and led her to the patio she shook her limbs out and tried to get her head in the game.

Then, he told her to hop on. She looked at him for a moment, caught between being amused and uncertain.

"Onto what... your back?" She asked, eyebrows furrowing beneath the mask. She couldn't see anything else apart from him to hop onto, but she didn't want to go and jump right on him and look the fool if she was wrong...

Jack nodded, smiling. "Yeah. You gotta be completely withing the bubble for it to work so you gotta be close to me. You'll see when I switch it on." He explained deeper. He turned back away, waiting to feel her climb on.

"Oh, of course," Vixen said, waving her hand as if it were obvious. When he turned around she took a deep breath and closed the distance between them. Gingerly, she placed her hands on his shoulders before thinking better of it and wrapping them around his shoulders properly and clasping them over his chest. This meant that her breasts were pressed against the back of his suit, and she shifted a little to get comfortable before she moved to wrap her legs around his hips. She held herself around him, it required the smallest amount of effort to support herself, but she did have to concentrate to ensure that her hold didn't get too tight. She could easily crush him like this, and that was the last thing she wanted to do.

"Okay, we should be good," she said, voice much softer now that her lips were barely an inch from his ear. She ignored the way her body was reacting to being wrapped around him like this. Head in the game, she told herself.

Jack nodded as she got comfortable around him. It was only then that he realized what this would mean. He swallowed a little as he felt her curves against his and her strong legs wrapping over his. He quickly flicked the harness on and a small bubble of purplish energy swirled around them. Jack tapped his foot on the ground and the pair of them rose up before he engaged the propulsion system of the anti-gravity unit and the pair were soon whisked away over the city.

As they flew, it was clear that Vixen had chosen the side the Orbus liked as the small spherical drone hovered a few inches from her head, buzzing and whirring within the field. What she couldn't realize is that Orbus was tapped into the emergency band, the FAA radar, and the local meteorological stations and feeding all that data to Jack's goggles. He used it all when flying to make sure he didn't do something stupid like getting sucked into a jet engine.

He looked over his shoulder at Vixen now. "If you like, you can ease up your grip." He said calmly to her. It seemed strange, but it was oddly quiet inside the bubble. The wind wasn't whipping past as she thought might happen. This was because the field was acting on the air molecules around them and pulling them along as well as they flew. It was very still as a result.

Flying through the night was nothing like what Vixen had imagined. She had thought it would be something like the platform that took them between towers; fast, high, turbulent and somewhat frightening.

Instead this was one of the most peaceful experiences of her life. The bubble around them protected them from the cold wind that whipped about and surrounded them with such a still, beautiful silence (with the exception of Orbus' whirring). Vixen was able to look around, smiling as she noticed Orbus right beside her head, before casting her gaze to the city below. Instinctively her grip tightened at the sheer distance between herself and the ground, but in all honesty, she felt rather safe here wrapped around Jack. The way he flew was too calm and controlled to inspire anything else.

It wasn't until they were well on their way that Jack turned to her. His face was so close to hers that she could feel the heat of his breath on her skin.

"If you like, you can ease up your grip."

"Oh, sorry," Vixen said quickly, feeling terrible immediately. She loosened her grip to something she thought should be more comfortable for him. She hadn't realised she'd been so tense. "I, uh... I think I need an Orbus of my own to help tell my muscles who is in my non-target file. These muscles are used to crushing," she said with a little self-depreciating humour.

Jack chuckled. "I'll keep that in mind as we keep working together." He said, turning and looking at her. He dipped and glided over the city so effortlessly thanks to Orbus and his goggles. He felt like he could just lean in and kiss her if he wanted, but this was not the time for that. He did think of something else though.

"I could think of worse ways to go, though." He smiled, hoping he hadn't stepped over some line..

He dipped low over the river, using it to stay hidden as he followed it to the harbor. He rose up off the water's surface and alighted on the nearest dock, deactivating the field as he switched his goggles to night vision. "Don't see anyone around." he informed Vixen who probably could see more with her naked eyes than he could with his technological help.

"Okay, here's how I figure it going down. SOme of these docks will be still operating or have ships in dock, waiting to out in the morning so their crews will be still behind. This meeting can't be going on where there are witnesses. So, you work your way down from here. I'll start on the other end." He handed her the tracker back. "When the car gets back into range, you let me know over the earpiece. I'll be able to follow them from up top and guide you to the right one." He said, hoping it sounded like a decent plan.

Vixen grinned at Jack's quip and his easy acceptance of her flaws. Even the way he had asked her to lighten her grip had been calm and simple. Also, Jack's comments about worse ways to go did make her feel a little less concerned about the new and somewhat alarming feelings she was developing towards him.

As soon as they approached the docks Vixen set her senses out to her surroundings. She had already ascertained that the coast was clear around their landing area as Jack set them down.

He didn’t immediately deactivate the anti-grab bubble so she remained on his back as he spoke. She was, she tried to convince herself, in full action mode, but even she couldn’t deny the tingling in her body at the realization that her hold of him was rather intimate.

"That sounds like a good plan to me," Vixen agreed with a nod as she regretfully unwound herself from around him. She then stepped to the side stretching out her limbs and bouncing in the spot for a moment to get some more blood flow into them. "Now so far as I can tell," she stopped for a moment and concentrated, casting her sensed out again, "The roofs of the next few warehouses are clear, but there is some noise in the upper back area of warehouse two… maybe try and fly out of view of the windows?" She suggested, rolling her neck and shoulders before stepping outside of the bubble.
"Okay, I will see you again shortly," Vixen said before she disappeared into the dark night beyond. If Jack's sensors picked her up he would notice her slinking through the shadows at the rear of and between the warehouses.

Jack didn't bother wondering how she was able to detect all of that. He trusted her enough to take her information for accurate. He nodded at her advice as he bobbed back and dipped below the sea wall, using it for cover as he circled around to the warehouse she pointed out. He turned off his rig as he climbed up onto dock and went up the side of the next building over to shield his approach as he hovered around. Placing a trembler mic up to the window of the building, he listened carefully.

"The guys in warehouse 2 are Albanians, waiting for their ship to show up for offload. These aren't our guys..." He said to Vixen over the earpiece. "We should figure they won't be using the surrounding buildings then for fear that someone will see them coming or going." He added as he rose up into the air. Taking a bird's eye view, he wire-framed the docks for his display, making a 3D map for use in the dark. To help him out, he added the signal from Vixen's earpiece to his display so she would be on his heads up map.

"Okay, got the layout. Looks like 3 points of entry and exit by road. Lots of foot paths. Then of course there is the water and the river. I'd turn on that tracker and keep it handy; no telling when they might come into range." He communicated back.

Heading to the far end of the harbor, he went from building to building, marking which ones were already occupied. Hovering back up above it all, he started mapping out a radius around each building that would be the typical hearing range for normal activity for the people inside. "Okay, looks like the viable buildings would be warehouses 7, 8, 11, 14, and 15..." he said. "Camp out some place where you can reach any of those buildings when they arrive."

"Right, copy that," Vixen said softly through the earpiece. She looked around the area and decided to take warehouse 11 as it was closest to the road. As she made her way over she said to Jack "I'm going to camp between some containers to the rear of eleven and keep an eye on the road. The tracker is on and I can see them heading down the highway, ETA five minutes. It looks like Weasel and Goliath are traveling together."

Vixen settles into the space between the containers now and waited. She didn't know where Jack was, but it was nice to know he had her back. She remembered the first time they met, here at these docks, and smirked at just how wrong she had been about Infinium and the man behind him.

Time seemed to crawl and Vixen was aware of all he sounds of the night. The regular lapping of the waves on the other side of the warehouse, the far off noises of the road. Then the sound of wheels crunching... Two, maybe three cars?

"Here they come. I will wait until I can follow them and stake out the rear windows. You wanna take the front?" She asked through the comms.

Jack heard her plan and nodded. "I got you on my overlay. You should be fine there; I see no movement in that area." He continued to hover high enough that no one should see him. He tried to place himself with the moon behind him so that his field's dull glow wouldn't draw the eye too much.

Then, he heard her calling out the approach of the vehicles. From his vantage point, he couldn't make out which headlights were theirs. "Which gate are they entering?" He asked as he started descending slowly.

"And I've got the top. We don't want to interrupt this meeting; this is our chance to tag the people behind this. We need to figure out where they are making the serum and the weapons." He reminded her.

"The main gate," Vixen said, looking around the corner of the shipping container and seeing headlights a moment later. "They are coming down the road that hits the t intersection behind warehouse eleven and twelve," she finished, pressing herself flat against the container and watching their progress from around a corner.

The two cars were slick looking sedans with dark, blacked out windows. They pulled down the road and at the t intersection they turned to the left. As they did Vixen scaled to the top of the shipping containers and followed the progress of the group from up high. They kept going further and further down until their cars slowed up behind warehouse 15.

"Infinium, make for warehouse fifteen," she confirmed through comms, even though she was fairly certain his tech would have told him as much. Vixen waited on tip of a two stack of containers behind warehouse 14 as Goliath got out of the rear sedan and walked over, opening up the large roller doors at the back just enough to let the cars through. The cars progressed in and Goliath ducked under the roller door to join them.

"Goliath confirmed with the group. I'm moving in closer. Will observe through the open door. Expect radio silence from me while they are in there unless there is an emergency."

Vixen shimmied down the side of the containers with ease and checked that the road was clear before she darted across and pressed herself to the outer wall of the warehouse. She sidestepped across, her heels surprisingly quiet on the ground as she did. Then she was close enough to hear what was going on inside.

Jack nodded, keying on the cars as they entered the harbor with his HUD system. "Got 'em. Remember, do no engage unless necessary." He said prior to hearing her shut off her earpiece. He glided down slowly as the cars rounded the corner and pulled into the back of the building. He alighted on the roof quietly beside a skylight down into the building. Adjusting his goggles, he watched as GOliath joined Weasel as the latter stepped from the car. He was jittery, but that was Weasel's natural state so it was hard to read his nervousness.

Then, the passenger side door opened on the first car. A man easily Goliath's size stepped out and opened the door behind him. As he did, one long lithe leg slipped from inside then another. Then a tall thin woman pushed herself up into full view. She moved with a sliding, snake-like gait around the back of the car before opening the rear door. Offering her hand inside, she helped the woman that Goliath met with from inside. She seemed so... plain, so... average. Everything about her made her hard to describe in detail. Jack shook his head; was this the person in charge ultimately? He was sure that the woman Goliath met was a go-between. Maybe he had read the situation completely incorrectly.

Then, just as he was having these thoughts, the woman seemed to melt away and in it's place a very sharply dressed man stood in her place. He stared at Goliath; then, at Weasel. He spoke and Vixen could hear him with her heightened senses.

"Good, you've both not told anyone else about this meeting. That's good; I'd hate to have Carter dump you in the water tonight." The large man that stepped from the car flexes ever so slightly under his rather formal looking attire.

Vixen listen in intently as car doors open and shut and people moved about. She dared to take a peek around the corner for the barest of moments and counted five people in total. Goliath and Weasel came from the same car where as the other mammoth of a man, the snake-like woman, and the woman who- Vixen's eyes widened - transformed into a man, stepped out of the first.

"No, we understand the importance of keeping this quiet," Goliath said in his gruff voice, his usual threatening tone tempered by a wary respect. Interesting.

"Good, good," the man said dismissively. "Now you- Weasel, is it? Wow, what a terrible thing to call oneself."

"Yes sir," muttered Weasel. Vixen was sure he had intended to acknowledge it was him, rather than the fact that he had a terrible name, but his reply was a little too late. Vixen smirked.

"I am sure that Liandra has told you about Project Augment,"

"Yes sir."

"Good. So I am sure that you are thrilled that you have been chosen to be the first live, non-animal, test subject for version 3.0 of the serum... Although with a name like yours, you may just end up being another animal subject."

There were appreciative sniggers from the others at that last comment. Vixen could just hear a huff of embarrassed breath underneath them.

"Well, what are we waiting for?" The man snapped. Then the sounds of shuffling filled the air. People getting something out of the car, others dragging a heavy sounding object across the concrete floor. Two people whispering off to the side...

Jack watched as the large man opened the trunk of the first car. He hauled out a large metallic case and set it down on the ground. He started handing things to the woman who seemed to be laying them out on a work table in the building. WIthout asking him, the man seemed to direct Goliath to find a chair and bring it over. Weasel went with him, asking him things under his breath, but the large mercenary didn't seem to be listening.

Once the chair was set up in an open area near the work table, the man who once looked like a woman turned his attention to Weasel. Without a word said between them, the jittery man went still and calmly walked to the chair and sat down. He leaned back in it as calmly as someone slipping into a hot tub. He gave a head gesture to the rather slinky woman who walked over with an injector gun. Goliath didn't move to stop her; she pulled the trigger and whatever was loaded into the contraption was dumped into Weasel intravenously.

For a moment, stillness...

Through the shuffling Vixen concentrated on the voices. She could hear Weasel the best, even though he was whispering rapidly.

"Are you sure this won't kill me?"

"It's not gonna make me sick, is it?"

"What about that kid I gave it to- he looks like shit!"

Vixen tensed, her hands balling into fists at her side. She couldn't engage. This was more important than revenge.

"That was 2.0. They used the results from his lab tests to improve this version. Now shut the fuck up before I punch you in the face," Goliath snapped under his breath, finally saying something to the jittery Weasel.

They accessed Jack's blood test results? Vixen was furious. These bastards had their noses in everything. She made a mental note of that, and she knew it would make bringing them down that much sweeter.

Then things suddenly went quieter. There were no more voices, just the sounds of walking and pottering about. Then the sounds of straps being done up. Vixen took a risk and peeked around the corner again, looking in to see that an unusually calm and still Weasel was being strapped into a chair and injected with something. His eyes fluttered shut.

Then... nothing.

A whole minute went by, the tension in the warehouse rising every second. The snake-like woman reached out, her fingers brushing Weasel's wrist, probably to find his pulse.

As soon as her skin touched his- Weasel let out an almighty yell.

"ARRRRGH!!!!!"

Vixen's hands snapped up to cover her ears, but the action wasn't noticed by those in the warehouse, they were too busy watching Weasel as he continued to yell, then his body started to thrash about.

Vixen watched, entranced, and then after a few moments Weasel fell still. They all waited with bated breath as his eyes opened. He shrunk back, as though the dim light in the warehouse was too much.

"Noise- there is so much noise," he groaned, shifting in his bindings. The chair creaked. The people watching looked at each other, the starts of smiles on their faces.

Slowly, he opened his eyes again, squinting as he let them adjust.

"It is so bright, it wasn't this bright befo- wait- who is that?"

Weasel's eyes focused like a laser beam- past the people around him and right onto the shine from Vixen's platinum blonde hair. She clenched her fists, darting back behind visual cover and slowing down her breathing as she activated her comms.

Jack was a little disturbed by what he saw. It wasn't until whatever they injected into Weasel took effect that he saw why they needed the straps. It looked like he was convulsing hard enough to snap himself in half if he wasn't strapped down. He began crying out about something and he knew that they were injecting him with the serum here and now. It looked like it wasn't a gentle procedure, either. He tried to record it all, wanting to pick up any detail, no matter how small.

Then, he saw Weasel look to the front of the building, to where Vixen was standing. As he did, he heard Vixen switch on her comms again. "Vixen, are you okay? Are you made?" He asked, hoping she hadn't been spotted yet. They hadn't gotten their window to tag the other car yet.

Vixen knew turning her comms back on was a risk, but she also knew she needed to be in contact with Jack if something went down. She held her breath, waiting as those inside stood in silence. She could hear Weasel straining against his bonds, then the others quizzed him.

Vixen heard Jack's voice, and she hoped it was low enough that only she would hear.

But in the end it didn't matter.

There was a snatch of whispered commands and the pounding of feet.

Vixen only had a split second to decide what to do. Run for the containers, duck around the corner, or go up.

She chose up. People rarely did look above their own level.

Vixen leapt, scaling the walls as quietly and quickly as she could using a metal support beam to aid her. She heard the footsteps coming closer and then skid to a halt right beneath her. She looked down, seeing Goliath and Carter down below her with their guns out.

"There's no one here," Goliath grunted back over his shoulder.

"No! I saw someone!" Weasel argued, his words accompanies by the sound of more straining. The two thugs looked back at him and then there was the sound of straps coming loose.

Fuck, Vixen thought....

Jack watched as Weasel was unstrapped as Goilath and the man referred to as Carter ran from the building. Then, as he watched, the woman did something he did not expect. Opening the zipper on her body suit, she peeled it off in one deft motion, leaving her naked. She temptingly caressed the chin of the man behind it all with one finger before fading from sight.

"Vixen... Vixen, the woman has chameleon-like invisibility. She can make her skin match her surroundings!" he called through the radio, hoping he wasn't too loud.

Meanwhile, Weasel and the man he guessed was the telepath joined the others outside.

The telepath stood still a moment and the area became very still. Then, his eyes scanned up the containers where Vixen was hiding. As his eyes crept higher and higher, there was a feeling line needles runing up her spine before ticking the back of her brain. He pointed right to where Vixen was hiding in the shadows. "There." was all he said.

As soon as he pointed, Carter began firing where the man's hand pointed. Goliath joined in, but he seemed less sure about what he was shooting at. Despite being told where to shoot, however, the angle was all wrong and the bullets panged against the metal all around Vixen.

Jack saw a window; it was probably folly, but he had to take this chance. He just hoped that Vixen was as capable as he hoped. Opening the skylight, he hovered down to the cars, landing on the opposite side to shield him from view. Reaching under, he placed a tracker similar to the ones he gave Vixen earlier. Once firmly affixed, he stepped from behind the car, calling out. "Enough!"

The 4 men wheeled around, Carter and Goliath aiming guns at him, but the telepath raised his hand. "Don't bother, that shield keeps him safe, isn't that right, Captain?"

Jack kept his gauntlet trained on the man in charge as he cycled his optics to see if he could pick up the woman on some other wavelength. "Seems you know an awful lot about me and my toys." He quipped, buying for time.

"We do. A most marvelous invention, the Infinium particle. You are deservedly lauded for its discovery, but I think my colleagues and I feel that you're a bit too narrow in its application."

"I've seen what you want to do with it. I can't allow you to weaponize it like you have with those guns I found at the last site."

"Allow us? ALLOW US?! You dare tell humanity what it can and can't do with one of the most ground-breaking advances in energy technology?!" As the man yelled a wave of ultra-violet tinged energy burst from him. Jack reacted, firing off a blast of his own. The two harmlessly passed through one another and Jack quickly accelerated up through the skylight again, crashing through it to avoid whatever the telepath launched at him. In the same instant, Carter stepped in front of the man and seemed to absorb the energy of Jack's blast into his body.

"Vixen! Vixen, I hope that you got out of there. Tag's in place, we can go.... Vixen? Vixen, come in!" Jack called through the radio as he was already plotting a path out of the area.

The others had followed Goliath and Carter out. Even Weasel. He looked nothing like he had before. He was standing a little taller, his shoulders squared as if he felt empowered. There was still a tic in his behavior, and though his eyes scanned the area it was almost as though he was still having trouble adjusting to his senses.

Vixen heard Jack's warning and remained still, once more hoping Weasel wouldn't hear the comms.

But it didn't matter.

Vixen felt a strange prickling running up her body. It wasn’t a physical thing, more like a subconscious awareness. It reached the base of her neck and then-
"There."
Bullets rained down on the container and Vixen belt on tighter. The metal crunched under her grip and she stayed perfectly still. There was something about the angle that meant the bullets couldn’t quite reach her. Perfect.

But after a few moments Vixen heard Jack. And not through her earpiece. Her eyes widened as the leader returned to the warehouse and began to banter with Infinium. Dammit! He had put himself at risk to stop them firing at her!

Once she thought the attention was off her she shimmied down the container. Her feet had barely touched the ground when she gasped, her entire body slammed against the container.
And, for once, it actually hurt!
"Wha- fu-," she wheezed as strong arm wrapped around her throat. She felt two more limbs wrap around her too, an arm under her breasts and a leg around her hips. Her hands instinctively flew to claw at the arm around her throat as she struggled to breathe. It got tighter and tighter, and the thing behind her just held true.

"You think you are so clever with your strength and sneaking around," a smooth, seductive female voice hissed in her ears "But there are new kids in town now, Vixen, and you are olds news…"

Vixen struggled harder, surprised by the strength of the female. But the struggling wasn’t working. So she concentrated more of her flagging energy on tearing at the ATM around her throat. She grunted as she felt her ribs start to burn, the crushing pressure compressing her body painfully.

She heard Jack's voice through comms and wanted to reply, but she couldn’t breathe let alone talk…

She was about to pass out just as her desperate fingers started to do damage, leaving bloody streaks in the woman's arms.

The woman swore and hissed in pain. Her stranglehold loosened just slightly, but it was probably too little too late. Stull Vixen kept clawing and fighting with everything she had left. The metallic tang of blood filled her nose, and Vixen wondered if she had finally found someone stronger than her. She only hoped that Jack would get away safely…

Jack flicked on his overlay display, trying to find Vixen. 'There!' he thought as the RFID of her comms unit pinged on the wire-frame map. He accelerated back toward the harbor. As he did, he saw the cars pulling out of the warehouse. They were leaving, but VIxen didn't appear to be in the cars, according to his overlay. Then, he saw why.

Vixen was pressed up against one of the metal containers, but someone was wrapped around her body from behind. It was the woman that came along and had disappeared. 'Shit, that's where she went,' Jack thought to himself as he got into range. He leveled his gauntlet and Orbus hovered forward, adding his laser designator to the shot to guide his targeting systems. His overlay showed blue over Vixen's body and red over the woman. It was a tight shot, but one he had done before. The aperture of his gauntlet dialed in like an iris closing and a confined pulse blasted forward flying at the speed of light and hitting the woman between the shoulder and neck.

She screamed in pain and her hold on Vixen loosened as she toppled to the ground. Jack landed beside Vixen as she toppled to the ground. He looked up to see the car stopping at the end of the containers. Hefting Vixen into his arms, he reactivated his field and took off. Looking back, he saw the telepath kneeling beside the fallen woman looking up at him with a face full of hate.

Jack crossed his fingers and hoped they wouldn't find his tracker as he flew over the city back to the Argent Towers. Eventually, he felt Vixen starting to stir as she was able to breathe easier now.

The last thing remembered was the world going black. As Vixen opened her eyes, her body tingling and aching, she gasped. The world was still black!

It took her a moment to push through the fog in her mind and look around. The black... It was the sky. And she was viewing it through a sheer shield. With a groan she shifted her face, looking up. She looked past Jack's chest armor and straight under his visor. A sense of relief flooded her aching body and the tension left her limbs. She was safe. He had... And even injured, part of her hated to admit this, but Infinium had saved her.

"Jack- t-thank yo-" Vixen wheezed, each word clawing at her throat painfully.

Jack looked down. "Don't. You don't ever have to thank me. That's not why I did it. But you're welcome." He said, smiling at her. The city flew by beneath them, unaware as to what happened tonight. He adjusted his grip, not holding her so tight as the anti-grav field made it easier. He didn't know what else to say for now, so he just flew in silence.

"Did she hurt you?" He asked, realizing that he needed to know if she needed medical attention that he didn't know how to do.

Vixen's felt warm at Jack's words. But he was wrong, she would thank him for this and anything else he did for her. She appreciated him, and she was going to let him know it. And as he held her closer she softened against him more. She knew he was just making sure he had a safe grip on her, but it was nice to be held for once.

"S-she did," Vixen said looking rather surprised at that fact. Her words came easier already, but there was still pain behind them. She brought a hand up to gently massage her throat. "I'll b-be fine... Heal quickly," she said, managing a washing smirk.

Jack nodded. He had a feeling her body worked faster than most given her other abilities. "Good..." he said, breathing a little easier. He kept flying, feeling a bit better about holding her like this. Her body felt so warm against his. It was only because of his hold on her that he realized how toned her body was all over. No soft tissue really anywhere. He swallowed as his body reacted from holding such a fit, beautiful woman so close. He had to change the subject.

"Uh... I was able to get a tag on the main guy's car. It should show up on your system now too so we can figure out where their main base is." He reported, trying to think about something other than Vixen's beautiful body against his.
