Once 7:42 hit, I was thinking about exactly where I will be 4 weeks from that exact moment. For example, four weeks from this minute, I will be about half way to london.

OMG I still have so much to do too!


BTW, he still thinks I'm rushing things because of some of the things I want to get accomplished and have ready with in the next week.

I won't be venturing out side of Dublin County...I don't think anyway, he's pretty much incharge of where we go and see while I'm there. I have given him a list of things I'd like to see or do as I find out about them, but I restrict it to with in Dublin County, just to be safe.

Clean out the van so that there is nothing in there when I leave it

borrow scale from mom to weigh luggage

Draw up next month's budget and get final tally on money I will have for trip.

If you are a morbid weirdo like me, St. Michan's church is an interesting spot - the crypt houses some knights and a nun and possibly two executed revolutionaries who are sort of mummified by the peculiar atmosphere down there - fingernails and hair still visible, kind of dark and tarry like Tollund man.

The church itself is over 1000 years old. That alone is fairly mindblowing.

Also there's a very impressive bunch of carvings relating to music. Handel was rumored to play there, but it's not true. I guess they wanted something a little less creepy to pull people in.

This, is, of course, lower on the totem pole than screwing like bunnies, but there's a lot to do in Dublin.

I'd make sure to hit up Christchurch Cathedral, Trinity College (book of Kells) cross O'Connell bridge, check out the giant sized (do they eat radioactive feed?) pigeons in St. Stephen's park, knock on Oscar Wilde's door, gawk at the Cuchullain in the GPO, and have a Guiness out of a can, too, which is nothing remotely like the same experience stateside.

Another week down, and only 3 more to go. (3 weeks and 8 hours to be exact)

I'm really trying hard not to let this McD's thing be such a hard blow, but it really seemed like a dream come true. On the positive side, at least I know that I'm a shoe in if I can get a visa and a work permit. Knowing they want me bad enough to research it has got to mean something.

I think the other thing that's bugging me is my lack of contact with jounar this week. No, it's not unusual, but with this whole McD's thing I'm just bumming and want to talk to him. A few text here and there and an IM convo this week has been all we've had.

Besides that, there are still a few details I'd like to have worked out before I leave. I'm really starting to get nervous. But then, I'm getting nervous about a lot of things, giddy has been over run by parinoia this week, and I don't like it!

This so reminds me of how I was hone when I came out to meet D.

I think its perfectly normal and rest assured the paranoia will be replaced by jubilation and then return to paranoia and or, fear many times before you actually get there! *giggles*
