The count down is on again!

*bouncing and dancing around the room squealing a little girly squeal and giggling*

My Euro are here! In my hand!

EEEEEEEEE! :D:D:D:D

:nana::nana:

Man they look funny. *giggles*

They are weird looking, I have to admit.

I've seen euros in my boyfriend's wallet and they have to be some of the oddest currency I've seen.

I have a 10 that he sent me this christmas and I remember looking at it for hours when it first got here. But I have a bunch of different bills now and they're all different colors and sizes and just really weird looking. *giggles* I collect foreign coin, but don't have many bills.

btw, that original 10 is not coming with me. it's special and I don't want to accedentally spend it.

LOL, after Aussie money, I found the Euro coin and notes to be very boring and bland...still do. On another note, when I first came here, it was to be a 3 week stay and I extended twice and didn't go back to Oz to pack up my life for 4 months, and then it was a speedy visit which gave me barely time to think. Fortunately someone had heard what was happening in my life and wanted to buy my house, so it cut down on a lot of time and also saved me going through a real estate.

*giggles* never seen Aussie money. Just used to seeing nothing but green in my wallet. *giggles*

17 days for me and I'm staying a whole 10 nights this time, longest I've ever gotten to go. Usually it's just a long weekend.

Congrats sweetie! :)

I'll be there 9 nights (arive friday afternoon and leave a week from that sunday in the morning).

I'm so excited (as if you can't tell *giggles*) not only am I going to stay with him, but this is the first time I've ever traveled...period...let alone to another country.

:cathappy:

*more huggs*

I am not nervous yet, but I am getting damned needy. lol

Since he can text out to me on his mobile now, we've had some sort of contact everyday. It's been amazing. But I think it has me even more nervous than just the fact that the date is coming up. He's been able to "be there" for me more than ever before, it just kind of reafirms my feeling. So again,as I've admited before, I'm more nervous about if things go well than if they don't. If they go well, there's pretty much no where for the relationship to go with out involving a huge step and a big move.....but I'm willing to take them, just nervous, as any normal person would be.

So last night we were chatting on yim for the first time in about a week (have I mentioned how much I love that he can text me now? didn't seem nearly as bad as it used to), when he gets all serious on me.

Now Jounar doesn't get serious too often, and usually when he does it's huge, so I braced myself for deep impact.

His big serious moment....was to tell me that the weather there is "really fucked up right now". One moment chilly, then raining, then beaming sunshine, so I need to prepare for both good and bad weather.

You can not imagine how releaved I was that this was the big serious "btw". *giggles*

From what I've been told from other people who don't live in Ireland, but visit there with some frequency is that this is pretty normal. And in all honesty, he's told me a few times that the exact same thing is going on. And every time he acts kind of surprized about it. *giggles*

The other thing that really struck me is this is the first time he's ever told me to prepare for bad weather. Before he's pretty much wanted me on a strict dress code of short skirts and low cut tops. Kind of takes things out of a fantasy realm and into a more realistic "I'm taking care of you" one.

Of course I could be doing the typical girl thing and reading too much into this. But it honestly hit me as significant.

Anyrate, 4 weeks and 5 hours from now I'll be on the plane to see him. :cathappy:

Weather there really does change absurdly often. Like, you'll want an umbrella at all times, pretty much. Because you might use it 3x that day.

Also, see if you can get anyone to show you some OLD money - the currency was really beautiful, too. The coins were minimalist with national animals and there was a 20 with Yeats on it!

Sweetness!

Old money officially added to the "search for" list.

And see, even he tells me at least every other month that it's been pouring rain one minute and beaming sunshine the next for that week. It just strikes me as funny that he said "right now", and it's always just "right now". *giggles*

He even made a comment once and said it doesn't really rain that much! WTF do you mean it doesn't rain that much? I've been watching their weather, rain is in the forcast 6 days out of 7, usually.

Yeah but it's often for like, an hour at a time. It's weird, trust me. This time of year anyway, I've not been in Oct.

He clairified his statement like 3 weeks later saying that is does rain often, but they don't get much of it.

I'm told October isn't much better, at least, not when I'll be there.

Not that rain bothers me. *giggles*

Just don't burst from excitement Wenchy.

And yeah, the weather is miserable in the UK and Ireland atm,
