The count down is on again!

Time will pass, dearie. In the meantime, I'll keep my fingers crossed that everything falls into place for you. :rose:

Thanks. :)

So far everything is looking good, I'm just going to be a little tighter than expected because of the new car payment and the increase in insurance that brought.

As to a more perminite situation...still waiting to hear back from HR on that, but they told me it would be a week. In the mean time I'm acting store manager while the store manager is on vacation, so if this week goes well, maybe at least I can get a raise out of this and be able to see him more often.

Your in my thoughts Wenchie. You count your days, I count mine.

Really wish you and Jounar just the best. Let the rest of days untill your with him pass as fast as possible. *huggs*

Well I've decided that if the airline is going to allow me 2 pieces of checked luggage, I'm going to take them up on it. *giggles* But the set I bought only has one big piece in it, so I'm going shopping with mom to pick out another one. Hopefully one that matches the rest of the set some what, but isn't black. I want my bags to stand out so that I don't have to worry about not recognizing them or some one else taking them.

Hopefully I can find one that isn't the same price as the set I bought.

64 days until take off, and I have the money I need just to get by. :D

Everything I save from here on out is cake. :cathappy: I still have 4 checks budgeted out, and if I stick with it, then I can double my trip money! :cathappy:

Believe me, though black is popular as luggage colour, there are lots of colours. One of the best ways I have found to make them stand out is to either tie a large coloured ribbon to one of the handles, or use a distinctive luggage strap around it, or attach a something unique yet big enough to see like a good sized keyring holder.:)

Trust me, I'm going to have as many distictive markings as I can *giggles*

Right now I have my 2 purple bags (one's a carry on) and mom's one black, they all have pink locks, mom's has a pink leather luggage tag, and mine have black. And I'm going to be picking up some purple bandana's to tie onto them this weekend, along with tieing ribbons to where the locks are. *giggles*

I'm not taking any chances. There is also one full change of clothes in my backpack, and 2 full changes, including extra shoes, in my carry on. I am petrified that my luggage is going to get lost. And I'm thinking that's most likely to happen when I'm going from london to dublin, as that's when I switch airlines altogether.

I have lost track a bit on actual dates, I really want to be able to meet up with you, and now need to figure out trying to get holiday time to do it.

How much time do you have between flights in London, is it minutes or hours? If

I may be able to meet up with you there instead of Ireland. That way you don't have to tear yourself away from Journer!!

Let me know, I am so looking forward to seeing you

x

Wenchie I can understand what you're going through. My man lives in Ireland and because of my work and money, I've only seen him twice this year :( He was supposed to come over to visit last week but his work changed the way he gets paid and he couldn't afford to come over. He's still got a week of leave to take so he's booking time off to come and seem me in like November, just before christmas.

Not seen him since the end of May!

I share your pain honey.

I'll be sending you a pm as well, but, I have a 2 hour layover in London. That's if my flights are all ontime before that, it will be my 2nd layover. I found out that the airport has free showers ( tho they charge to rent soap and towels) so, if I feel comfortable enough when I see them, I wanted to take the op to clean up a bit before the last leg of my travel and before I see him.

but I'm afraid to do that even. I'm so scared that I'm going to miss one of my flights. :(

This will be my first trip. (I'm in the states btw) It's taken 3 years to beable to make this trip, but it's finally happening, and it should be able to happen a little more frequently, once or twice a year. Unless my job goes thru and I can move there. :cathappy:

Ouchies. At least mine is England to Ireland, which means we get to see each other a little more often than that.

That said, it still doesn't make it any easier. Thank god for webcams!

*giggles* Yes webcams do help, and you're right England to Ireland can feel just as far apart.

But what I love most is our phone calls...when he answers anyway  ... his voice can make me feel so wrapped up in him it's amazing.

Seeing as we both make pitance (what I get paid is disgraceful for what I do) we don't call cos of the costs. We text and then have voice convos on MSN.

I call him about once a week. I can buy a phone card for $20 and it gives me about 550 minutes. And I call on weekends so there are no cell minutes being used, so it's not so bad.

After my trip, I'll leave one of my world phone cards with him, so he can call me and recharge it as needed. I think those are a tad bit more, but still like five cents a minute.

It's usually really late (his time) when we IM, so we don't do voice chat. Don't want to wake any one else in the house.

We tend to talk quietly, my mic is pretty good.

He does call me occasionally and its nice to hear his voice, spesh when he calls just to tell me how much he loves me.

*giggles*

I remember the one time Jounar did call me.

I looked at my phone very confused by the sight of his number, and answered it in a very obviously shocked way. He sounded so proud of himself *giggles* and it really did make my day as well. Infact I still think back on that with the greatest warm fuzzies.

Thank you for the pm.

I am seeing my manager this week so will try and get some annual leave sorted out now I have dates.

If I can't get the time I may have to fly over on the Saturday and take a plane back early Sunday or later the same day.

Whichever it is, I want to meet you

:)

I had a totally emo night online with him last night, ended up crying cos we were talking about how much we miss each other :(
