I am still crunching the numbers to see if it is worth the price and effort. The feds are offering 30 percent tax credit if done before 12/16. Efficient. Quiet. Good for resale. Lots to consider.

I got the 30% tax credit on my solar power system at my cabin. I would of put in a battery/inverter system anyhow, so the solar panels and charge controller were basically free.

I'm about to redo my shower, I want to tile the base and my dad has "offered" to hire Home Depot to do it instead of me doing it myself. He's trying to gift me with this but I'd rather lay it myself.

We used a natural stone on the base of ours. And a Schluter-KERDI shower kit below the tile. You've seen the almost finished product.

I'm sure this has been around for a while but I thought it was interesting. A little hard to see but it looks as though none of the workers have any safety equipment on and there are certainly no handrails around those columns.

uh oh...someone mentioned getting electricity from a source other than unfiltered max pollution coal/oil......that sends trysail into fits. QUICK! Someone pour some used motor oil into a marine preserve or slash and burn some ancient forest before he comes totally unglued!
