The Chosen People, a book review by Byron Roth

Different population groups have different genetic characteristics. That does not make races actual breeds or subspecies.
Then it is a matter of how we define "race." Two populations that differ genetically and by average ability levels and behavior can be said to belong to two different races.

Hi there.

Who's definitive scientific theory is that? When was it formulated? When and how was the supporting data ethically gathered? Who subjected this thesis to peer review? Come on there senõr humanities, crack open a fresh can of actual science.
P.S.
If it's the definition Murray is using them his argument is definitely circular.

(Because he is using ability level of the population as a defining criteria of the population.)

Charles Murray is not using ability levels as the defining characteristic of races, but genetic differences that can be determined in repeated experiments.

In his essay "The Inequality Taboo" Charles Murray mentioned an experiment in which 3,636 subjects were asked to identify the race they belonged to. Then thy were asked to donate a tissue sample for DNA testing. The scientists testing the tissue samples did now know the races the doners of the samples claimed for themselves, but they agreed with the subjects 99.9% of the time. That experiment has been repeated several times with the same result.

What repeated experiments?
The one I discussed in my comment 98, which is right above you. ^

Every day Hamas announces that Israel is killing Gazans at the food distribution sites. There's never any evidence. There's never any proof. It's just lies.
"There's never any evidence" because "God's Chosen People" choose to deny reporters access to Gaza.

There are food riots regularly at the four massive food distribution sites because of chaos and congestion. Every major relief organization urged Israel to open many smaller food relief centers, but Israel said they knew were aware of the potential for violence and just smiled.

Israel has earned its reputation as a pariah among nations.

But how can you rule out environmental factors as the cause of ability and behavior?

If you think that, what have you left to say about Rusia? Israel only wants to survive.

Christians and Muslims try to force their religions on everyone else. Jews say that everyone else can do what they want. We don't claim that our way is the only way. Rather the opposite.
Remember what happened to international students at Columbia university? They chanted "Free Palestine" and waved the Palestine flag. They got deported. Your conjecture that "Jews say that everyone else can do what they want" is demonstrably laughable.

It does not matter where the Palestinians came from. What matters is where they need to go. Their continued presence in Israel is obnoxious to the Children of Israel.
People have to leave the homelands they grew up in and raised families in because the God's Chosen People now choose to be upset by non-Jewish very existence?

No. Just no. The only ones needing to be evicted are the terrorist Israeli war criminals conducting their pogrom in the West Bank.

These are the people who need to leave. Israel cannot compromise with people who think this way.

The students at Columbia were calling for genocide. Jewish tolerance for the beliefs of others stops when one of the beliefs is "let's kill all the Jews!"

Read the whole article. The experiment has been repeated with the same results.
My response to this is the same as it is every time you say that: the issue at hand is not whether or not there are measurable differences, it's the reason why there are. Those "repeated experiments" have found that there are differences in intelligence between Blacks and whites, but that is not the point. The point is, you (and apparently Murray) are convinced that difference is natural, when in reality it is almost certainly attributable to centuries of abuse and oppression that have lessened somewhat in recent decades but are still very much present.

Incidentally, Murray starts that essay with a claim that "we live in an age when students are likely to hear more about Marie Curie than about Albert Einstein". I sincerely doubt that, and I note that he makes no cite for that claim.

Jews endured over a thousand years of persecution. This culminated in the Holocaust. Nevertheless, today Jews are the most accomplished 0.2% of the human species.

It's a different kind of persecution with different effects. And you know it.
