Thank you so much. Things are better, but not fully resolved I guess. I don't think they ever will be...I think it will always be tough this way. The main problem is that Daddy is a REALLY poor communicator, and in a LDR communication is 80% of the relationship...so it's hard on me when we're not together. I was just venting a bit...I really did feel that way at the time, but now I can at least acknowledge that it was a transitory thing.

Thank you - you are so right. I was good and managed to stay away from the liquor cabinet AND not eat junk food! I hadn't had dinner yet so I had my dinner and that was good enough. I also got to talk to em on the phone and that helped a bit. I am doing okay right now.

BTW, I am not prone to using alcohol to solve problems...I have a drink maybe once a month at most. I was just casting about for ways to feel better.

I did. I think what happened is that my fridge is very cold (I frequently have slushy milk) and I used a glass baking bowl, like one of the pyrex ones I would normally make scalloped potatoes in. I think the bowl got very cold so the outer edges of the jello and the jello touching the bowl stiffened faster than the rest of itso it ended up lik super thick and stiff.

Next time mix it in something else and then put it in the bowl to go in the fridge. turst me, it helps.
