Thanks.

I've been really worried today.

At first it was similar but then it elevated to "Oh shit I'm gonna die, this is gonna tear me apart and I'm too sick to help myself levels."

It felt like Labor without the cool line into your back that helps block the pain and only on one side so worse.

But I did get my running around done and I STILL hope to make the trip tomorrow.

Fury :rose:

Well I hope you do make the trip for all the right reasons including that your feeling 100%.............more so that than anything Miss Fury :rose:

100 percent? I don't know that I can do that but I'll do me best as always.

From this site:

http://kidney.niddk.nih.gov/kudiseases/pubs/stonesadults/index.htm#whata

I submit the following:

Kidney stones often do not cause any symptoms. Usually, the first symptom of a kidney stone is extreme pain, which occurs when a stone acutely blocks the flow of urine. The pain often begins suddenly when a stone moves in the urinary tract, causing irritation or blockage. Typically, a person feels a sharp, cramping pain in the back and side in the area of the kidney or in the lower abdomen. Sometimes nausea and vomiting occur. Later, pain may spread to the groin.

If the stone is too large to pass easily, pain continues as the muscles in the wall of the tiny ureter try to squeeze the stone along into the bladder. As a stone grows or moves, blood may appear in the urine. As the stone moves down the ureter closer to the bladder, you may feel the need to urinate more often or feel a burning sensation during urination.

If fever and chills accompany any of these symptoms, an infection may be present. In this case, you should contact a doctor immediately.

Fury Go back to the ER and get checked.

It may be kidney stones but its best to be sure.

Sometims its possible to dissolve them if they are not too big.

*Fingers crossed*

Hope you start to feel better soon :rose:

Actually if I wasn't feeling better I couldn't be typing.

The doc says it was a kidney stone and that I should go to the emergency room next time as that is the only help, otherwise you just have to endure as I did for three hours. Lovely.

Sorry to hear about the stones Fury. I've not had kidney stones but I did have gall stones and was told the only thing worse was kidney stones (and I SO didn't think anything could be worse!) so you have my full on sympathy and best wishes that they pass quickly. :rose:

Self doubts suck   :( :(

*sigh* Not in a good head space today - my pain threshold is down, am feeling a bit depressed and pissed off at myself  Even wondering if I'm cut out for this :( Grrr I hate feeling this way!

Well, I guess it's good and bad news I suppose.
The doc called me today (!!) because she's in the office on call and all my blood tests and Xrays came back normal. I don't have RA. Which is good for sure.
But she's sending me to a musculoskeletal clinic because I said it was really hard to carry on working while this happened (it's not happening now) and I didn't want to have to do it again.
She thinks it might have something to do with the ligaments where they join the bones.
Especially since I told her muscle relaxants helped.
Yow.
And of course my old buddy stress would tighten up the connections and make pains worse.
I swear - everything she sees me about excpt for strep is linked to stress or hormones.

I hope you get a handle on what this is Brioche so you can get the right kind of care you need.

Thanks Caela!

I'm doing good today. I've had to stay medicated because when I don't, I start to feel some of that pain again and it terrifies me. I've NEVER felt anything that bad before unmedicated for three solid hours! It's actually worse than labor! I've also had to pee waaaaay too often but I'm happy and having a fantastic trip with my darling anyway! Go me? LOL!

LOVE the rose!
