Frontier House is an attempt to take a contemporary American family back to 1880's Montana. It's funny and has what looks like a fist fight abrewin' between two of the three families.

Fuck Survivor.

Hmmphh. I've watched the whole thing. Nate and Kristen are the only one's who would still be alive by the next spring, I think.

I love this show, it takes me back to those Little House on the Prarrie daydreams I used have. Plus Nate is just hot. There is no denying it.

Well what the heck else are they for?

I know what pigs are for, but they don't have to kill the pig. The little boy makes a very good argument: Why are we pretending to be something to be something we're not?

Are Mark and Karen the ones that broke up after the filming was over?

I could spend a little time in his cabin.

The pig is dead, and so is Mark and Karen's marriage.

Karen is such a bitch. She's everything I hate in a woman. Truly petty and severely jealous.

Actually, this show looks really interesting. It is by the same producers of '1900 House'. See that? I saw only the last episode. It was really amazing (read: kind of amusing) - the family, which had just lived a la turn-of-the-century for weeks, was crying when they left the house. They were like, "I love 1900 house!"
Of course, they were back to boom boxes and microwaves before long.

1900 House was a very cool series. I don't know if it's the same producers, but obviously, that was the inspiration.

I've watched this show. My biggest complaint is why did they choose such winers??? REALLY these people are SOFT!!!

Oh well, too many farmers etc in my family I guess. Or maybe it was living in Amish country till I was 7 that made me realize milk doesn't come from the grocery store...sigh...sad just sad.

Although the whole ruckus over the cow going back to the other families corral was pretty entertaining. Man that guy was an asshole. You'd think in reality if three families undertook such a journey and tried to build a life they'd be more helpful to each other. Guess human nature can really suck.

What got to me was, why would you go into an endeavor like that if you weren't willing to try to do your best at it while maintaining integrity? Sneaking in make up , shampoo, even a box spring? That's pathetic. I loved Nate and Kristen, but the wolves could have eaten the rest of them, it would be fine with me.

I think you might be right there Marxist my man, not very many people will watch.

I watched the whole series and really enjoyed it.
I thought that those prissy fucks from California were the worst.
Even before they left the women were pissing and moaning about not being able to wear makeup, it's the frontier you stupid fucks! not the fucking mall what the fuck eh?

I watched the 1900 House and liked that too.
I was suprised that they hired that other woman, I think she might have been irish, to be the maid.
They worked her hard and only paid her period wages, what was the advantage for her?

I'm so with you on this. Although, it was kind of nice to watch the Clum family come together, even though they cheated their little asses off. ;)

Nate, Rudy & Kristen were the heart and soul of the show, I thought. They all seemed like such legitimate, good people--the kind of folks you want to sit down to have a meal with, that they just made everyone else's petty personality squabbles (like that between Tennesse chick & Gordon) seem doubly juvenile.

Excellent show, I thought. I taped the whole thing, I'm sending it to my Mom next.

I watched the first two episodes. I'm such a nerd, I think I'll order the set. Never have time to actually plan what I'm watching.

Did anyone watch the series PBS did called the 1900 House? It was pretty good, and they showed all the episodes in a marathon one saturday. Maybe I can catch all of Frontier House if they do the same thing.

Is THAT what was on PBS last night? The TV Guide channel wasn't showing our PBS station and I was watching the show trying to figure out what it was.

It didn't look like any of the women or children were too happy to be participating...

I think the guys were really getting off on the experience. I just wonder if they would have remained so happy cooped up with the women and kids during the Winter.
