The benifits of posting

I posted here a few times,mentioned some deep thoughts and feelings on life,sex and status. While posting my wife sat and read them as I typed. After she walked out I looked through all the old and new responses to my previous posts. Many of you posted some heart felt and good advice, some not.
Hell even one dude "I think his name was mayberry something"
had opionions on what a loser I was or how did he put it ...Troll "
yea thats it.
I some how radiated the impression that I was trolling for secret extramairital relationships and that is just not the case.
Some of you thought I was a self motivated, self centered asshole
directed by his dick, and that is definately true.But thank you to all of you who took the time to post and reply...Its good to see someone elses oppinion of a situation.Its good to see someones oppinion and veiw of me based on what I have told you about us or me.
Reading these replys has been theriputic. "I think I spelled that wrong" but heres what posting here got me if you care to read.
After the first post or two my wife got a chance to read them and somehow must have been effected by my desperation becouse by nights end I had my bag of gear spread out,she was tied strictly and the camera was snapping.It made me pleased to share this pent up desire with her and finally she was enjoying herself with the whole thing not just going through the motions like she has in the past just for my pleasure. I know shes not really into it like I would want us to be, but its a start.

Once again the written word is more powerful than the spoken one. We have the power to help each other if we would just take the time and put forth a little effort.

That's good news, vicdamize.

And thank you for returning and posting. As someone who does her best not to judge others, you brought a new perspective to the role of the forum and those nasty little sarcastic comments that get posted. They can actually be more helpful than all the tolerant posts given.

We were talking last night about how BDSM has changed the dynamics of this relationship compared to those other relationships that came before.

In simple and concrete terms:

1. There is no quick fucking and rolling over. "Sex" always requires a few hours of intimacy and focus on one another. How cool is that?

2. Talking. We talk and talk and talk. BDSM has opened lines of communication that perhaps hadn't existed before. We are more comfortable saying, "I like..." "I need..." and listening to the other.

3. Excitment. Those little things we do during our daily lives to remind the other of what our roles are keeps us constantly feeling aroused by the other, excited and appreciative.
