Yesterday I went to the movies in the hope of watching Sandra Bullock fly around in space... and watching George Clooney die of course. It's a man-thing - all normal looking men love watching George Clooney die. 
Anyway, there was a girl in front of me texting away for the entire friggin movie. Her screen lit up like a WW-2 beacon during the dark passages and the flare annoyed me to the point where I was losing my zen. She was too far away for me to say anything though and I didn't feel that my aim was up to the task of throwing my beverage at her.
What is your advice for dealing with a pesky situation like this?
I should mention that my local theatre doesn't allow guns so unfortunately shooting her isn't an option...
