An alpha particle can be shielded with a layer of dead skin. So hold that cookie in your hand.

A beta particle can be shielded by a layer of clothes, so put that cookie in your pocket.

The gamma and neutron are harder because they both penetrate. But the neutron is more damaging. So eat the gamma cookie and throw the neutron cookie away.

Wow, I've never heard of that in all my years of chemistry or physics. Interesting... I knew the neutron was the most dangerous cuz of a neutron activation lab I did this year, but the rest of them.... Wow. Thanks for teaching me something guys.
