The AH Coffee Shop and Reading Room 09

* gets out her bagpipes ... but then decides to let @sirhugs have a peaceful morning * :ROFLMAO::love::heart:
thank you thank you thank you
I have thus far remained silent on the bagpipe issue, but I find them annoying... they always sound the same. I recently heard a supposed rendition of Amazing Grace on pipes... it was unrecognizable, even after being told what it was supposed to be.
You can see why I tried to keep out of the topic.

It's another beautiful day and I'm fully recovered from the myalgia from taking the statins. I'm going to have to talk to my doctor about an alternative to them since I had previously suffered the same using fibrates. I'm going to try to get out and do some weeding today, having neglected it for so long.

@sirhugs started the coffee and I've got the teapot boiling. There are cupcakes and bagels on the counter. I've packed the kilts and bagpipes away but they are in the back room if you need to borrow them for Halloween.

I'll be over in the corner for now, working on my Winter Holiday story. I think my Muse has been getting into the cooking sherry lately so I'm struggling to make any headway with the story ...

Good morning! Busy day today - meta data and Cover Art for the next book, then I can solely concentrate on my Halloween story. The more I think about the plot the more it makes me think it needs a Rod Serling style introduction... I wonder how many of today's readers would understand what that means.
I assume you AI generate your cover art? It was you doing the dragon pictures when I first started in on the forum, right?

"For your consideration..."

We have or had a local who wore a kilt as everyday apparel. Haven't seen him in a couple of years. I asked whose tartan it was and he didn't know, so the style choice wasn't a reflection of cultural heritage. Didn't press 'im on "the other issue." 🤣

Yes, I love my dragon. It's a major character in a series I am working on. His name is Pommeraie de la Montesquieu, but he's really a human named Nick Stein. When Nick becomes king he can only change into his dragon form at night because it wouldn't look seemingly to have a king that flies around with his son who can also become a dragon. The queen can also become a dragon if she wanted, but she thinks it's silly.

I used to wear a kilt all the time. I was in a bar one day and a fellow asked me "What do you REALLY wear under your kilt?" I answered him honestly: "Your wife's lipstick."

And the fight was on...

Literotica - the one porn site on the Net featuring discussions about bagpipes!

Sometimes I think there should be a Rule 35.
There's gotta be another, IDK seems like porn and bagpipes are a good mix if not over done. And if there isn't it just makes this site as unique as the people using it; I'm all for it.

Oh that's different! Let me know when it posts, I'll read that
Let me check where it is in my process:

1. write story
2. revise story
3. obsess over minuscule detail until I have a breakdown in the coffee shop thread
4. cry in someone's DMs
5. repeat 3 & 4 as needed (<- YOU ARE HERE)
6. submit for publication
7. click refresh until index finger muscles are strong enough to punch through dragon scales
