The AH Coffee Shop and Reading Room 09

Morning all. I'll make fresh coffee since I have no idea when the last pot was made.

I need to find a place besides 'Dreams Are Us' to get my dreams from. Tooling around the back alleys of Hollywood with Blake Shelton is not high on my list of things to do. Although the young ladies looked pretty good they were mostly flighty but then again I don't think many of the guys were interested in their brains.

Might have been more interesting than mine. I had a wedding party stranded in a hardware store (think Lowes or Home Depot) waiting for the bride and groom to arrive. They were detained, so the wedding party built a house while they waited--inside the store, with the merchandise on hand. If felt like that dream went on forever.

I've been plodding through a scene--essentially just two conversations--for three days, and this morning I finally broke through to the end. Taking three days to do it isn't a good sign. This scene is partly buildup to a "girlfriend meets the family" scene that I've been dreading from the start. Hopefully, with all the time put into the buildup, I've cleared the path and foreshadowed things enough that the difficult scene will be easier to write.

Greetings and Salutations from Okie Land, and a Happy Friday, y'all! Finished with the mandatory writing and am now about to dive headlong into my fun writing. I have a complement of pot of fresh brewed (not Kcups) French Roast, High Octane black as my hide (well blacker) coffee! Come on in, fill your cup, take a load off, and STS for a bit!

This morning's coffee was stronger than the Cracker Barrel stuff we had for the past two mornings. I didn't want to be rude and turn on the RV generator to brew our own, after spending nights camped in their parking lots.

Now just basking in the sun, with a bottle of water, working on my tan.

Eyesight?

I looked at the family diary for next week. I was puzzled by an entry for Thursday: Shrewsbury?

I put my glasses on.

What it said was: 'Sharps Boxes' - i.e. put sharps boxes out for collection.

I need to wear my glasses but I have three pairs and can't walk around the house safely wearing any of them.

It's always coffee o'clock. If it isn't wine o'clock or whisky o'clock.
Sorry I've been away for a week or so. Did you miss me? I've been doing research…

Expect a steamy lesbian story soon – watch this space.

The evening coffee is ready.

Pork chops, green beans, and smashed taters for supper.

Do Spanish women who have really learned to roll their R's make better Lesbian lovers? Inquiring minds and all that.

"It's always coffee o'clock." I like that line. I'll have a ... I've lost track today of the cup number. Perhaps ten or twelve by now? Then I started early with the whole doctor visits routines.

Had a new experience the last couple of days. A reader sent me a chat message and it turned into a typing conversation going back and forth about the story and how the reader had been given a picture by a friend who first read my story. Seems they had a fantasy role-play using a real model's picture and had some fun using her as an enactment of my story.

Never, ever figured that would happen. Youngsters with a lot of imagination, I figure. :coffee: 🎃

'morning all!
I was up 'way too late last night. I'm going to make a rule - No Curiosity Stream or True History after 11:30 PM
Curiosity Stream is a streaming service that shows great programs based on actual science/history and not the creative science flavored nonsense shown on the Science Channel.

True History is dangerous, it's nothing but college professors lecturing on actual historical events, untainted by personal historical views (I hope), personal political views (try taking American history from an avowed socialist with a grudge), or a textbook he's trying to sell. I would have paid extra for that when I was taking history in university back in '04 - '06

Coffee sounds like a fine idea. Anybody care for a muffin? I used raspberries from our garden (OK, frozen after being taken from our now-frozen garden)?

Good morning all.

SH, makes the coffee, TP brings Muffins. Damned nice around here as of late.

Honey's Buns and some kind of rolls for breakfast.

Two more days in the low 90's and then a week of mid 70's to low 80's. Fall is falling.

At the other side of the world, it’s midnight and we just watched "The Pet Collective". An hour of curated videos of pets doing silly or cute things.

And a flock of dachshunds made an appearance. 😎

Coffee and maybe eventually the gym?
BF is off Tennessee for the “big” game…
Who wants to talk about stories this weekend?
I love to talk about stories! It's easier to talk about them than it is to write them.

Microsoft?

Grr!

I have just bought a new PC with Win 10. It has a Microsoft product code, part under scratch-off panel. My wife and I have spent a quarter of an hour, with bright kitchen lights, our reading glasses, a magnifying glass, and a torch to try to decipher the code.

Even now we are not sure we have it correctly. It is too small and indistinct. .
