I know it's not legally a filibuster but I can respect anybody who's going to actually run their mouth for hours for the sake of the process. I don't have to agree with the end goal to respect the game. We'll go back to being enemies on Monday but he's got a week's worth of good will. He's earned it.

It's very everyone is equal and fairness of me. America collects taxes amongst other things to pay for FEMA. It was bad enough that Governor Perry was very "Now wouldn't be a good time to cut FEMA funding" when his state was on fire, he also balanced his budget by cutting emergency services. When I make the effort to make sure there is a rainy day fund and you in order a) Talk down about it as a waste of money, b) change your mind when convienent c) balance your budget by assuming I'll do a. and shirk your own responsibilities you deserve to feel the consequences of your actions.

Everybody is equally responsible for their actions I, and every liberal in history have been perfectly clear about this. You and other conservatives attempt to twist this.

The last major chunk of it goes into effect. There are a few bits and peices still floating about, most bits that got delayed and some that are still phasing in and will be for years but most of it is in place. Hence the final battle.

Actually that's not entirely a poor example. Except you only hear about illegal immigration when there is another problem popping up that needs to be addressed. It's a relatively small problem in and of itself.
