The A Song from My Story, a Story for My Song Support Page

Well, here's an interesting bit of feedback on my latest one, "Next Time You See Her" (linked in my sig line): "why is this in this section? Nothing screams horror in this story. Next time put it in the non-erotic category."

I guess reasonable people could disagree about whether a story inspired by a song about a stalker is a horror story (it meets my definition anyway), but exactly how does a story with two sex scenes count as "non-erotic"? Anon, if you're reading this, feel free to explain yourself.

Sex ≠ Erotica

(This is not me saying that your story isn't erotic, and no, I wasn't the person who commented on it)

Sex and erotica often go very well together, but some sex has nothing to do with erotica, and some erotic things stay far away from sex.

Fair point. But for Lit purposes, I have always interpreted "Non-erotic" as meaning there are no sex scenes in the story, ergo it doesn't belong there if it does have at least one sex scene.

Mine came out today: Interstellar
(It doesn’t show up on the search yet, so I suppose the tag indexes get updated later.)

And my song is One by U2 (on YouTube)

I had a few ideas based on my favorite Finnish band, but settled on this instead. Not that the song features so much in the story so I could’ve used the others as well I suppose.

Anyway, a very nice challenge, thank you carrteun for coming up with this :)
