Thank you for this, OM! It really resonates with me!
You deserve no less hun. And you should settle for no less.Thank you for this, OM! It really resonates with me!![]()
I hope your area stayed calm, OM! Just tell those tornadoes to stay away or they will get a poke in the eye! 🌪Looks like Calm before the storm here in New Jersey. Around 11:00 a.m. we expect severe thunderstorms 30 to 40 mph winds with gusts to 60 mph. The storm moved over Pennsylvania but we're on the east side which is the strongest. We have a 30% chance of tornadoes today until I think 3:00 p.m.. so it's going to be a wonderful morning. Hope everyone else is safe and dry.
I definitely frustrated my dad in my teens...that is putting it politely. He stuck by me and we got through itI wonder if we frustrated our parents as much when we didn't listen....I think yes...grrrrr
Use the stick woman!!!!
Indeed! Much as I like thunderstorms, I do NOT like tornadoes! They scare the crap out of me!Well shout out when it's all clear those pesky tornadoes make us all nervous.
I like the sound of that.....purely in tea making terms of course!Well I don't mind streaking by. As long as nobody's out I don't want to feel like Lady Godiva. There is no horse involved is there?
I like them seared with saladYum! I love peaches! They're grown in WA as well. The peaches are so lovely right now. I made a peach salad as part of my friend's birthday dinner. It was a hit!![]()
Us, too! I would LOVE some rain! 🌧And here in oh we are dry dry dry dry

We need a rolling eyes emoji for things like this!Hmm... keep Reason for Living... maybe add a few others
Honestly, how do some people manage to navigate life?
Today's example:
Standard email sent:
We got your request.
We updated your password to unlock your account.
Login w/ the new, generic value below.
Then change your password & set security questions.
Reply to let us know you completed all tasks or if more assistance is needed.
Customer: Does this mean I put in my old password, it doesn't like that?
Me: No - this means you enter the new values that I sent in the email below. Then once you've signed on with those, you need to change the password to a secure value.
(copy/paste & highlight the relevant section)
Customer: I'm sorry. I didn't see that in the first email. Do I continue to use that password, how do I change or answer security questions, it didn't prompt me to change or questions?
Me: No, the application will not prompt your to change your password or set security questions.
However, the current password is generic and not secure. Which is why the email directs you to change your password after you have signed in ... and to set your security questions if you have not already done so.
(copy/paste & highlight that section from original email - complete with instructions on "how to")
Customer: When I log in again, it should prompt me to change my password, I will do it at that time.
Me: When you log in with the generic password (value) the application will not prompt you to change the password.
The application does not recognize that as a generic, non-secure password, but we humans know it is. So for best practices and security, please change your password to a non-generic, secure value. And check to see that your security questions have been set.

So, that was the first hour of my work day.

I'm sorry, Wat! I hope she doesn't need a catastrophic event to learn her lesson!Mom has a good lightweight cane which would suffice for most occasions. I also got her a lovely twisted wood walking stick for walking and for Necessary Poke Administration. They both rest in the corner near the front door and both get ignored. I'm wondering if it's going to take a fall to get her attention.
Truth is, I'd prefer first of all that she take her phone with her. She sucks at that, too.
Thank you, SF!
Are you TRYING to get hurt MORE?!?I just did something quite dumb.
I’m supposed to watch my neighbors dog and cats this weekend, so I walked over to their house, about a quarter of a mile away through a wooded road.
Tree limbs were coming down left and right. Some of those guests were really powerful. NOT SMART!(but I lived to tell the tale.)
