I had a tiny piece of ceramic stick in my eye while wearing side shields but there was a good breeze and it somehow got past the glasses. Then there was the time I accidentally touch a hot wire to ground and the spark was so strong that a piece of copper splattered onto the lens of my glasses. It never hurts to go the extra step.

I probably have shingles. While I wait weeks for an appointment, I started self-medicating with ivermectin lotion I bought at Walmart. I went to Walmart for healthcare.

Shingles sucks. Can be very painful.

I hope it passes quickly. They diagnosed after it was too late to treat it. It was not a fun time…

The landlady had to put her very old beagle down today. He was all sorts of tumors and his feet had started to bleed because something was badly wrong there. He was 14.

It's tough when an animal loses their bestie... I'm glad y'all still have each other though!

My heartfelt condolences to the Landlady too.

I hate it when I have to sit around and wait for someone. Especially when I'm paying them.

I tried a new tactic regarding communication
I can't control when he shows up (70 min late today). The "Pay Me" clock doesn't start until he arrives.
I mentioned today that I was running low on cash, so he may need to take a personal check. But - had he texted me on Saturday morning? I would have had time to run to the bank... rather than trapped at the house waiting for him. We'll see if cash vs check helps w/ the learning curve.
