When I was a kid, we lived in a pretty old house. 1876 old Victorian, that wasn’t kept quite up to snuff. My dad tried, but it was a lot, especially after my parents split up.

All I wanted was to live in a newer nicer more modern house. Then as I grew up, I realized older houses were much cooler.

Our last house was an 1880 farmhouse, but Mrs. W and I compromised on this one and got a 1960 Cape Cod.

Now, I really love mid-century modern houses! My neighbors have a really really cool one!

I’ve tried…she always listens, I can see the wheels turning, then she begs off. I know it would help. Anyhow, back out to the hospital. Gonna knock out two birds with one stone. Momma’s radiation and we’ll drop in for a visit w my uncle. Might as well make a morning of it!

This is the longer of the two procedures, but not by much. We were out in a flash last week. Have a great day. Tired…stayed up and watched my team snatch defeat from the jaws of victory….

I've read about the noreaster you guys are getting. NY declared a state of emergency. Stay safe, you guys!

We’re about 60 or 70 miles inland, so it’s not nearly as bad here. But down the shore? I think it was pretty bad with a lot of coastal flooding.

I arrive later than we anticipated, more on Sunday evening, so we pretty much got there and back with no problems.

Two car purchases ago they pulled this crap on me. I had my Pretty Woman Moment. 5 dealerships all lost a cash sale that day.

He is resting now very well. I got good sleep so I plan to still drop off grandchildren this morning.

Slept through a call last night. Dr. Tyler was "found wandering the hallways without her keys." Wat's guess: pain meds induced disorientation. This may get interesting at a rate that I don't want to have to keep up with just yet . . . .

I'm glad she was found nearby before making her way outside.

I'd love to try one - but only if there was someone there with me. I could see myself aiming for 30% angle, achieving perpendicular, and then not being able to right myself. As a single person, if this were to happen on say a Friday evening? It could be Monday morning before anyone even thought to check on me. Not the way I'd want to go.

My senior dog is resting and on pain meds. I have him some meds to stimulate his appetite. It’s going to be day to day for him. This is sad. I am hoping he will pull out of it. My GF has been giving me amazing emotional support. So are all of you.

You definitely want someone there to help you get the hang of it (no pun intended) as the balancing teeter goes by your height. Well, that’s all fine and good for a person who is evenly proportioned. Unlike myself who let’s say, is more apple shaped…all my weight concentrated on my top two thirds. So I’m 6’2” but have to set the leg extension to 6’5” or it doesn’t balance right!.

Once you do find the sweet spot though, just a hint of movement from the hanging position, and the teeter will swing up to feet down. One other bit of caution. It feels unnatural the first couple of times even on the tether. Once you get used to it though, It really helps and I always feel great.

Very different day on the hill yesterday. Sat two and a half hours in the mist before they concluded it was time to cancel and send us home.

So got time to fix my electric fence. Didn’t bother switching it of got hold of the insulator and bloody thing was live. Well didnt need the voltage tester lol
