Crazy day and crazy week.

My schedule has been stacked all week. I’m prepping for meeting the next two week away.

And got roped into facilitating this fucking meeting with our CIO (chief indecision officer). she’s not making it easy to plan and facilitate this meeting.

Anyway - I had to work late the last few nites. I came home to Mrs wonderer who looked super sexy in her new haircut and a hot black dress!!

Instant mood changer.

My lip and trigeminal are still not right from getting a tooth yanked 2 mos ago. I dunno if it’ll ever be 100%.

I finally got some sleep and so did my senior dog. Yesterday was so stressful. I had to wait after the visit and finally he ate, drank and finally stood on his hind legs. He is still wobbly. It’s still day to day.

I missed an annual checkup with my dermatologist yesterday because of all the issues with my dog.

But wanted to say good morning.

Sounds like a bit better outcome for your best boy! Sorry you missed your own appointment. Were you able to reschedule?

OK Virtual Walking Buddy, I know you’ve had a lot on yer plate, but I’m gonna need you to knock out a mile today!

Good news all around on my front. Uncle is coming home today If’n, the doc likes the X-rays and his phlegmy cough goes away (he was put on meds yesterday) so waiting for my cousin to call. Momma got her dryer installed and she loves it. Her HVAC had a Lockout (we don’t know why?) but all it took was the tech to reset the codes…dodged a bullet on that one. One last radiation treatment, so things are looking up!

Waiting patiently for my results…

Welcome back OM! We need to herd a couple more strays and the Spoon will be complete!

Food eaten while walking or standing have no calories and, therefore, do not count as calories!

And, yes! The walk does count!

I'm back on the boat, as of Tuesday night, which has turned into a 36 hour romp....
My eyes are getting heavy, thanks to two, hot, buttered slices of my Goddess's banana bread with a Klondike bar...
I truly hope all of you fine Spoonies are doing well!

I thought I was going to have a lazy day today, then I got busy. I made energy balls for my trainer. I had given her the last ones out of the freezer yesterday. In spite of the tribute, she still worked me REALLY hard! We started with the leg press. She put on 5 (FIVE!) plates on each side! I pressed 550 lbs!



Then, when my legs were jello, she had me do a Farmer Carry with 80 lbs (40 each hand)! We continued in this vein until my time was up. I told her she was going to have to scoop me into a bowl and pour me into my car. What I need to do is more walking on my off days.

It was a beautiful day! The mountain was out on my way home. I never get tired of looking at it.
