Just got back from a 14 day cruise from Southampton England to Alta Norway. We got a gift of a trip to Paris as well. All I wanted to say is take advantage of your health today before it’s too late. So many people were unable to really enjoy themselves due to health issues. We even had a Helicopter lift a sick passenger while at sea.

Well said it’s too easy to take health for granted.

My senior dog is resting and on pain meds. I have him some meds to stimulate his appetite. It’s going to be day to day for him. This is sad. I am hoping he will pull out of it. My GF has been giving me amazing emotional support. So are all of you.

It’s a tough time and I hope he pulls through. Sadly when we take on pups we take on the responsibility to help them over the rainbow bridge. Hope it’s not for sometime yet but you will know when it is and face up to it. Wishing you all the best!

Up. Coffee. Woke up thinking it is Thursday. That's why I check teh fone to make sure what planet I'm on come morning. Meh. Another workday. Weather is slightly more autumnal. Hell, we may break out the flannel shirts next week. Maybe.


I've never done flannel sheets. Always been percale. I may try a set, but I'll have to ask the girls first, maybe.

I'm back on the boat, as of Tuesday night, which has turned into a 36 hour romp....
My eyes are getting heavy, thanks to two, hot, buttered slices of my Goddess's banana bread with a Klondike bar...
I truly hope all of you fine Spoonies are doing well!

You're spot-on regarding most of my absence.
We had some great times, some good times and some stressful things, but the great times far outweighed the stressful ones.
It reaffirms that my Lovely Wife Goddess is the only one for me to enjoy it all with!

I love both. Cotton in the summer; Flannel in the winter

I finally got some sleep and so did my senior dog. Yesterday was so stressful. I had to wait after the visit and finally he ate, drank and finally stood on his hind legs. He is still wobbly. It’s still day to day.

I missed an annual checkup with my dermatologist yesterday because of all the issues with my dog.

But wanted to say good morning.

Extra-big hug today... for you and your senior dog.

I wonder if it’s not dehydration and also maybe a UTI. It’s harder for older people to stay hydrated and it gives them a lot of UTIs, which can cause disorientation and confusion.

Those UTIs in later years can also mimic a stroke.
Twice my elderly aunt was found "speaking in tongues" and her friends rushed her to the ER thinking stroke. A few days on IV antibiotics cleared things right up.
Scary as can be though!

Have an appt with the weight loss doc at 3. Thinking i may reschedule. Not feeling it today.

Good news all around on my front. Uncle is coming home today If’n, the doc likes the X-rays and his phlegmy cough goes away (he was put on meds yesterday) so waiting for my cousin to call. Momma got her dryer installed and she loves it. Her HVAC had a Lockout (we don’t know why?) but all it took was the tech to reset the codes…dodged a bullet on that one. One last radiation treatment, so things are looking up!

Waiting patiently for my results…

Had the same last Thursday.Other than being beat up by the oral surgeon bracing himself with a foot on my jaw while he was struggling with the pull, no biggie.

My lip and trigeminal are still not right from getting a tooth yanked 2 mos ago. I dunno if it’ll ever be 100%.

I’m afraid to get the actual implant now.
