It's that time of year again. Everything in the garden is brown. If it wasn't done for, it would be this morning with the frost.
Sun is up enough to really start burning the frost off of things with a wall of mist flowing over the garage and between the buildings.

Off to join meetings and check emails. Have a good one out there today.

I don't think we've frosted yet but it's been damn close. In the lower 30s at night!

Awesome! I only eked out 2.7! I didn’t get the bonus of a funnel cake either!. I did win my darts tourney last night and it was one of our gals birthdays, so cheated and had some Apple Carmel cake…and some cookies…and a brownie…is that bad?

Uncle came home yesterday, so down to one procedure left for momma. Hopefully the doctor treadmill is coming to a close. I had a visit this a.m. and they scheduled the colon probe I’ve been avoiding…

It's kinda like a salvage operation, providing "bragging rights" on a couple of different levels... who makes the best, as well as how well their garden was still producing when the cold hit.

You are so right about self care when caring for a loved one. I took a short break and walked at the park for 45 minutes. When I returned he was walked down doggy stairs to the floor waiting for me. An amazing sight!

I already had a solution and discussed it with teh PM. He even remembers the chat. It's already sorted, no big deal, and the dummies are too st000pid to ask for he'p, read the notes I took (meticulously) and/or check with the PM. They're making problems where none exists. And the construction manager is buying into it.
