• So let’s get real, folks: President Biden isn’t going to run in 2024. It’s that simple.
• On Tuesday, Axios penned a story that the big brains in the White House are trying to figure out how to make it so the president doesn’t fall down as much. The solution: Mr. Biden now wears tennis shoes more, and he takes the shorter back stairs onto Air Force One.
• How’d that work out? Hours later, the 80-year-old president slipped and nearly tumbled down the 14-step staircase to AF1. He couldn’t handle 14 stairs. The guy’s done. A vast majority of Democrats don’t even want him to run again. He won’t.

I don’t think Biden will withdraw unless he suffers a debilitating health issue. But suppose that happened after the primaries were underway and Biden had collected a substantial number of delegates, but before the convention. Would Democrats really snub Kamala Harris and select a white male far left progressive from CA? I’m thinking back on the pivotal role Clyburn and black voters played in getting Biden nominated in 2020.
