I rarely wear my nerdy glasses out, I quickly got over the dumb comments of oh you must be a librarian or a lawyer because you look really intelligent. Strangely enough I never get that when I am not wearing glasses.

I completely agree, and get the exact same treatment.
Treated like I'm in Mensa when the glasses are on, and treated like everyone else once the glasses are off. Oh so irritating.

It's at times like this that I'm tempted to wear my reading glasses throughout the day, but they're tinted a really dark green and stand out a fair bit. It looks like I can't indulge in the attraction to nerdy women that people seem to have.
