I do not think they missed your point I think they just did not care to acknowledge it. You made it clearly without being rude or bitchy.
I see that your point was, that in the week you were gone, you started more threads than you would normally start under a different name and no one said a thing about it.

Here, Ambrosious, is my reasoning, for all it is worth.
Let's begin with censorship, because this is an issue I am passionate about. It is people like YOU who cause censorship to happen. Why? Because you give people a reason to want something gone, and you obnoxiously defend it without having a leg to stand on other than childish selfishness.
I would NEVER tell you that you CAN'T post 7 threads a day. But I WILL tell you that I don't think you should. Why can 3 people post 3 threads a day, but 1 person can’t post 9? Because the other THREE don’t go away. They still post THEIR three. So instead of nine, you have 18. And it creates a muck of the board.
And, if we're going to put it all on the line, my problem is not only with you. It's with the entire little clan of ho-hums that seem to enjoy doing nothing but irritating others. However, that being said, it is MY problem. And I can make it go away by ignoring you, or going away myself. Quite frankly, one of those two is gong to happen, because someone like yourself can only be endured for so long by someone like myself. That length of time is apparently about 4 days.
And you smugly write about censorship. Acting like you are Galileo condemned to purgatory for trying to mate mankind with divine science. You are not Galileo, honey. You're a child. You're a little kid standing in the center of the room willing to do anything to be looked at. You'd just as soon knock over something expensive and break it. Because at least when someone yells at you, it supplies the attention you crave, and the approval you're gunning for (and pouting because you don't have). You don't have a clue what censorship IS. No one here has tried to censor you. They've tried to convince you to have the simple self-respect that accompanies conversation etiquette.
You have been asked. You ignore it. You've incited others to anger, you've ignored it. Basically, you will do what you want, and fuck everyone else. Fine. But don't whine to me about censorship. You haven't earned the right to say that. You’ve never been censored. You’ve been criticized for your juvenile behavior.
You are not concerned about knocking old threads off the board because they are always around somewhere. Sure...on back pages...and usually half buried in between some insignificant tripe to boot. Basically, what you are saying is that you don't CARE about inconveniencing anyone else. Fuck us. Let us sort through it all. We can't stop you. You can do that too, but admit that's what you're doing. You're being an ass. Everyone on the board is granted free reign. There are no real rules, so you think you have the right to make everyone else play by yours. Selfish and childish, honey. There's no other words for it.
As long as you're the center of attention, you get what you want. And, I think what offends ws, Killer, and myself (I wouldn't presume to speak for them or anyone else, but I think I am right about this) is that you are lazy about it. You want to be the center of attention? Have something to say. It doesn't have to be funny or serious, but let it have some fucking substance. Maybe, if you concentrated the slightest effort into any one thought, you wouldn't need so much useless drivel on your side. You want to be the center of attention? Use wit. Use your real voice. Don't hide behind this kindergarten shit. It's pathetic.

I started bantering around on these boards because I was home ill. I met some fun people, have pondered some descent debate, and had a whole lot of laughs with people who EARN their attention. Through wit and intellect.
Communicating with people like you isn’t possible. You never shut your own mouth long enough to listen. You defend…defend…defend…even when the center of your argument will not hold.

It’s a woman who doesn’t need approval OR applause to state her case. And it’s a woman who isn’t afraid to tell someone to go fuck themselves when the cards are on the table. You express one legitimate thought, and I’ll be happy to show you how a woman debates.I could fight about this endlessly, and probably enjoy it, but the circle doesn’t end, and some other people are just tired of the endless rhetoric. So I will simply do the considerate thing. I’ll endure you and ignore your posting when I can, and I will click and flip through the crap you mire descent conversation in. Why, after a long and well reasoned argument about the posting habits of Ambrosious, did you feel the need to veer off and take a long and condescending shot at my friend Julia?
There was no call for it, You'd provided enough food for thought, and you'd certainly gotten your point across. But now I find the only part of your lengthy post that sticks out in my mind is your bitchy little addendum.
Juliangel's been here for a while, and her quick wit and kind heart have garnered her a number of friends. I'm honored to be one of them. You've been here a week, and your dour nature seems to indicate that you spend too much time with the lab animals, and not enough time with human beings.
Maybe if you hang around long enough, things will turn around for you. But right now I don't think there is a chance in hell you will ever earn the love and respect Julia has.

I read the silly threads as much as the serious threads regardless of who starts them and I have developed a personality profile for some of the people. The profile I have for R Nitelight is a person who enjoys life, is generally kind hearted and would not hurt a rat (sorry Nite). Therefore when I sense that he has gotten angry, as I do now, then things are going too far.

Well, if you take the time - which I certainly wouldn't suggest you do b/c it would simply be a useless waste - to read back a coupla weeks, you'll see the same type of indirect insult was directed at myself when I took a stand along with April against the inane threads. She declared that the "meaningful vs meaningless" thread she started wasn't against ME at all, but against the troll posting against April... um, ok.
In one of my posts I said something about the "decent" threads being pushed off the front couple of pages.. and my definition of "decent" was further elucidated as "meaningful" I assumed... (which of course I had my hand slapped for. oh my) ... and yet, the troll said NOTHING about meaningful (i.e. decent) threads in his/her attack of April.
It is ridiculous to deny the origin and aim of your attack. Not only that but it completely eradicates any respectability you may have gained as a "persona" on the board to so quickly post a statement and just as quickly retreat in denial.
