Although it seems that this has gotton slightly off your purported, original subject of "thank you" threads, I assume that was in reference to me thanking people for their warm welcome yesterday. You probably would've received a quicker response had you directed your complaint towards me in the first place.
Whoever said I was a virgin was correct (sort of).
Yesterday was my first day on this site. I was responding to something my father wrote (flamingo blue). If I have offended you in anyway by thanking people for welcoming me, I apologize.
I don't know all of your little rules and regulations for this site. I don't really care either. I read something that my father wrote and responded to it. End of story. Relax, sister. Don't read those threads if you're not interested. I don't remember asking you to.

Hiya Madison..just a little FYI from one of us that has done this same thing before. Check the post dates carefully before you assume these are about you. This thread was originally started some time ago. Go back to the very first post and look at the date. Someone decided to bring back old threads a few days ago...so here it looks like she was bitching about something that she was bitching about a long time ago (yes, that was English)

At any rate...my opinion still stands. This is a free BB and no one is ever going to be 100% happy with everything. You come here and do your own thing and let the "bitchers and moaners" bitch and moan...cause they will anyway.

Got another gret idea! A thread maker match between Ambro and Nitelite. But there is a committment that they would have to limit their threads/posts to 2/day until the match. That way each would be hungry for the win! (okay, 4/day).

OK, I'll go though it one more time. I post quite frequently, but I am not concerned about knocking off other threads, look how old this one is and it is STILL HERE! It has nothing to do with a childish, nanny nanny boo boo attitude. If it did, I would not have laid off the board for a week as Ambrosious.

The thing that I noticed while I left the board to the serious posters, was that just as many stupid and frivilous threads were started. So I registered two other names so I could post and see what happened. What happened? Nothing, not one word was said. The second thread I started in the same day drew an attack. That was #2 for the day. Just 2. This is after starting no less than 10 under assumed identities that drew NO flack. NONE.

So that started me thinking, is it just Ambrosious people have a problem with? Why? Jealousy? Hatred? Because I make them smile? I don't know. It isn't fair, but I'm not asking for fairness. Just to be left alone. Yes, you can, you left both of my other identities alone.

Now, for the number of threads and how they knock off some "serious" discussions, are you proposing that no one EVER start a new thread. Every new one kicks another one to page 2. Or are you saying that I can't express how I feel here freely, and let the board decide which thoughts are worth commenting on. YOU may not want to know whether or not I put mayo on my sandwich (a thread NOT started by me) but obviously some do. Look at the number of responses THAT got. Self censorship is painful to me. Maybe not you, but it is to me.

And lastly, the point of bringing this thread back (sorry Madison) was twofold. First point is that the good ol' days are gone, and crying about them will not bring them back. Lit has OVER 10,000 members now, compared to 3,000 when I joined. Second point is that no matter how old a thread is, it's still here!

I keep going back to it, but NO one has yet to explain WHY 3 DIFFERENT people cant post 4 threads daily, but ONE can't start 9 threads. Why is that? Why? I am really trying to understand your position, and understand why seeing my name pisses you off so badly.

That is where I am coming from, I hope it clears everything up. Once again, I am trying to understand YOUR position as well, it just makes no sense to me. Sorry, but it doesn't.

Okay, since I seem to be the original bitcher with the beef. The problem with your posting style Ambro is this. You didn't post 10 threads a day. You posted 10 threads an hour. You and nightlight had this bored flooded with inane threads that no serious thread had a chance for survival. You posted threads that you had no interest in seeing if anyone replied. My problem with you. When we complained we were told to, in so many words, so what? I don't care what you think. I make three people happy and I enjoy it, big whoop. Half the board was covered with Guess What? I had a brain fart threads and the other half was covered with PosterName... hi! threads. For some reason you haven't been doing that lately. Next time you do an assummed name, Monkey See Monkey Do, come up with original threads that have nothing in them of substance, rather than bringing up all of lashers, which only annoyed your groupies.

You have posted in the past week threads that provoke thought, they may not be about how to obtain world peace, but they are threads that invite a person outside of your clique, the groupies, to respond.

Being told that, oh well, don't like it don't read it isn't acceptable when most of the board is comprised of threads I don't like. Don't read it means to leave the board and go elsewhere. I haven't done it, I probably won't, but I've been looking around for another place to go enjoy online.

Since I'm apparently needing to "grow up" because my opinion isn't popular and doesn't fall in line with the groupies, then maybe this board isn't for me. I can tell where I'm not wanted. I suppose wanting a modicum of seriousness and silliness in moderation requires the need to grow up. Somewhere along the line I've already said enough from me, so again I'll say enough, only this time I mean it. I'm wasting my breath and my time. I don't know why I'm bothering.
