I wanted to take this opportunity to start up another thread, thanking those wonderful people that provide us authors with positive anonymous feedback. I'd love to reply personally to them, but, for their own reasons, they don't provide us with return email addresses.

The feedback that prompted me to start up this thread was about my Winter Holiday Contest entry, Loving in a Winter Wonderland. This is what the feedback said:

A lovely story, pinned down by realistic details and with just the right sensual balance.

If you sent that and read this, thanks! It's those kind of comments, about my stories and/or my writing, that make posting at Lit worthwhile for me.

I do appreciate the anonymous feedback I get - even the negative ones usually tell me something more about my writing such as my title and description attracted the wrong readers.

Anonymous gets such a bad rep. I for one must say that 9 out of 10 feedback messages dear Anon sent were very positive, some even constructive.

I know it's sad. In 14 months here I only ever received anonymous feedback 10 times.

I haven't done much "feedback to author"........

Usually deliberate on the vote, hit that, and off i go.

I have sent a couple. But limited.

As an author, I have received feedback, all positive. I really appreciate it, and look forward to receiving it.

Out of nearly 400,000 reads for my stories, I have got a couple dozen feedbacks. I WANT MORE..........
