Thank you for the music (closed)

Luna nodded at him "Very true I don't believe in going to different countries, because other countries problems are not this countries problem. Yet for some odd reason everyone doesn't give a shit, and throw American soldiers in bad countries. It's actually very freaking annoying"

He grinned,

"Perhaps the infidels needs a lesson in stupidity and our government is very happy to oblige in such lessons."

He took a sip of his drink and finished his meal. He opened his case and pulled out a sheet of paper and a pencil. He placed it on the table and started writing, humming as he wrote on a composition.

She chuckled at him and finished up her meal about the same time, she watched him starting to write something down. And hearing him hum she realized what he was doing, she silently sipped her drink. When it came down to it, it really was a wonderful little friendly date.

He finished up with the song and went it over again. He absent mindedly pulled out his guitar and started to play the song, humming along as he read from the paper. He suddenly stopped and gave Luna a shy grin

"Sorry about that, the song came to me and I get a bit carried away when that happens."

He replaced the guitar and slid the page over to her,

"Lyrics if you please maestro"

He chuckled

She smiled "Don't worry about it" Then when he pushed over the lyrics she looked at them, and nodded. She began to sing the lyrics, to the tune that his guitar had given her. She was very happy and looked up at him.

"This is lovely"

Charles Streak

He chuckled,

"Glad that you like it."

He smiled,

"Why don't you keep it? Call it a little thank you for everything you have done for me so far."

He got up, picked up his case and waited for her to join him, then he paiid for their meal and they headed outside again. Walking along the park's walkways. He sat down at another fountain, much smaller than the other. He pulled out his guitar and smiled at Luna.

"Well then let's see if I can entertain my audience."

She smiled and thanked him, tucking it away in her pocket and walked on out with him. Following right behind him, she loved how he made her feel. He really was a good guy, and it was rare to find such good people any more. When they got to a small fountain she chuckled at him and nodded, crossing one leg over the other as she sat beside him.

"I'm sure you can" She patted his shoulder kindly.

"I hope you’re doing fine out there without me
Cause I’m not doing so good without you
The things I thought you’d never know about me
Were the things I guess you always understood
So how could I have been so blind for all these years
I guess I only see the truth through all this fear of living without you

Everything I have in this world and all that I’ll ever be
It could all fall down around me
Just as long as I have you right here by me

I can’t take another day without you
Cause baby I could never make it on my own

I’ve been waiting so long just to hold you
And to be back in your arms where I belong
Sorry I can’t always find the words to say
Everything I’ve ever known gets swept away
Inside of your love

Everything I have in this world and all that I’ll ever be
It could all fall down around me
Just as long as I have you right here by me

As the days roll on I see time is standing still for me
When you’re not here
Sorry I can’t always find the words to say
Everything I’ve ever known is swept away
Inside of your love

Everything I have in this world and all that I’ll ever be
It could all fall down around me
Just as long as I have you right here by me

Everything I have in this world and all that I’ll ever be
It could all fall down around me
Just as long as I have you right here by me"

As he finished the song, he opened his eyes which he had closed during the song and looked at the people gathered already around them.

"Well then, the audience grows already."

She listened to the beautiful song he sang and relaxed a bit bit, watching slowly as people came over. When he stopped she looked at him "Yes they always come you have a wonderful talent Charles" She rubbed his back happily.

Charles Streak

He chuckled,

"A talent only noticed after a beautiful lady started to hang out with me."

He began playing again, he stopped only to get drinks for Luna and himself, while they drank they talked and Charles found that he had already grown quite fond of her.

She listened to what he said and chuckled some.

"No you have a talent Charles you know that as well as I do" She said happily.

When he got them drinks, she talked to him for a while. And found that she to was fond of him, amazing what one could find out by being fully open with someone.

When finally he stoPped it was for a late lunch, he took the rest of the day off, spending time with Luna, walking around talking about their lives and doing window shopping, joking around and at the end of the day ended up at her place, he smiled at her.

"And so I walked you home via the scenic route."

He chuckled.

She smiled having one hell of a good day, he was cute and rather funny. He had a ton of skills and wished he hadn't such a hard time on things. "Would you like to come in, perhaps some dinner? I mean I don't have much just left overs, could watch a movie?" She said happily offering him a warm meal and a movie.

Charles Streak

He smiled at her,

"I appreciate the offer, I really do, but I need to get home for tonight, how about tomorrow night? Then you can nightingale me another song."

He grinned, leaned down and kissed her cheek,

"Thank you for everything Luna."

Slinging his case on to his back he wandered down the street, turned a corner and headed home.

She smiled as he asked for a rain check, she nodded and when he kissed her cheek and left. She wanted to just run up to him and beg him to move in, it was just for the companionship. But she wouldn't do that, last thing she wanted him to think was she couldn't live a life alone. He may perfected to live alone, but she enjoyed the kiss he gave her.

"see ya tomorrow" She called and waved, shutting the door she ran her fingers over the cheek he kissed. "My god I got a crush on the guy" She said happily.

The next morning found Charles sitting in the park, his guitar case seated next to him, his hands behind his head, eyes closed, lost in thought.

"Excuse me?"

There was a tap on his knee, he opened his eyes and looked up at the man who had spoken. The man obviously was a businessman,

"Are you the gentleman who plays here almost every day?"

Charles nodded,

"Yes I am."

The man nodded in return and produced a business card,

"Johnathan Clarkson, DMI Records scout, you don't perhaps have a Demo tape for me?"

Charles chuckled and unzipped his case, revealed all the previous business cards,

"I have a tape of course, any down on his luck artist has one. These guys all took one and shortly after that my songs came out as hit singles."

He tossed the card with the others, withdrew a tape and handed it to the man,

"There you go."

The man took the tape, paused to say something, didn't say anything and walked away. Charles looked after the man, shook his head then lened back andd closed his eyes again.

She was heading up by the time the man left and wondered who that was, she shrugged her shoulders as she sat down beside him. Noticing that his eyes were closed, it was a lovely day and she silently sighed. "So who was that man?" She asked after sitting there a couple minutes, she didn't want to seem like she was stalking the poor guy.

Charles Streak

He smiled when he heard her voice, without opening his eyes he replied,

"Johnathan Clarkson, DMI Records scout."

He motioned vaguely to his suitcase,

"He wanted a demo tape."

He grinned suddenly,

"So how is my only stalker doing today?"

She smiled at her friend and chuckled a bit when he called her only stalker, looking up at the sky again she thought. "I'm alright slept a little to late today" She chuckled. "So I am a stalker huh?" She looked back at him but had a big grin on her face herself and chuckled. "Least you have a beautiful woman stalking you"

Charles Streak

He chuckled,

"Not bashful at all are you?"

He opened his eyes and looked sideways at her,

"Not that I can fault your words though."

He gave her a smile,

"How are you doing on this fine and sunny day hmm?"

She looked over at him and couldn't help but laugh with him, watching him she sighed a little bit. Relaxing a bit as she yawned a bit covering her mouth. "I am doing okay, and I was about to ask how you are doing, but by the looks? you look just fine" she giggled a bit. "I am glad you keep up with your demo tapes, least you have them. And you may never know"

Charles Streak

He chuckled at her words, then he shrugged,

"It's of my older music, so it should be covered somewhere, never seem to actually get somebody who wants the original artist. Weird right?"

Nodding she smiled "I wish I was a record label id hire you and make you my number one star. But alas I am just a nobody in this world that only one person seems to notice I'm alive and that is you Charles" She said and kissed his cheek. "but at least I have you and not alone in my small world"

Charles Streak

He chuckled,

"Then start your own label, perhaps with a little bit of help I might even become good at what I do."

He smiled at her,

"I am here and of course you are a safe one in your own little world now isn't it safe?"

She smiled at him "I honestly don't know my own little world hasn't been safe since I was a child, to many hidden fears lie in the dark if I think about them"
