OK, I choose the ViVi's dinner too. *calculates when I need to leave to get there by dinner time* What makes it praline sweet potato casserole? That sounds reeeeeaaaallly yum! Great. Now I got drool on my keyboard.A Smoked turkey, an oven roasted turkey, cornbread dressing, sourdough dressing, mashed potatoes, praline sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, ramen coleslaw (don't judge, it's a tradition), yeast rolls, home made cranberry relish, and at least three pies- pecan (my personal favorite), pumpkin, and buttermilk for sure. I'd my dad has his way I'll have to make a cherry one too.
Yup. That about does it. I'm already sick. Lol
Tofurkey is an abomination of god & nature.
Tofurkey: If you need to "URK", try ToFurkey.
Tofurkey: You CAN add enough salt & fat to make ANYTHING edible.
Tofurkey: When you really, really want your friends relatives to never have T-day at your house ever again.

I am vegetarian, and no, have never had Tofurkey. But I do cook Field Roast Celebration Roast for Thanksgiving. It's really good. I fucking love turkey, and it's obviously not that good, but it's a pretty good substitute.
And peanut butter pie is actually pretty amazing. My husband's aunt always makes it for TG for some reason.
And I'll be at my MIL's house this year, so I will be bringing bottles and bottles of wine. None of those people drink, so it's all for me. Fuck yeah.

Malpeque, Pickle Point, Wellfleet, or Beausoleil. I wanted Island Creeks but I can' get them right now. I also can't mix and match (well I can but I shouldn't) Oh and french Kiss are an option as well but despite their name, they probably aren't what I am after. I am thinking either the Pickle Points or the Wellfleets. I wouldn't mind Lady Chatterleys though. Decisions Decisions.....
I googled that Roast...interesting.
Do you need help carrying over all that wine??? Oh&OfCourse, drinking all that wine???
*raises hand*
I've done some great vegan shepherd's pies, eggplant parm, roasted squash casseroles, portobello mushrooms, etc.
