So.

Whatcha cooking on that day??
Family traditional?
Fusion?

Turducken? ToFurkey?

Telllll Meeeeee.

:D

ToFurkey. *blech* Sounds nasty.

We always have the traditional Thanksgiving meal. I don't cook much during the year, but I cook for the holidays. Turkey, mashed potatoes, bacon and green bean casserole, gravy. My family is not big on stuffing so I don't make it.

Someone always makes the pie, I don't usually have the time to make that.

Now, I'm hungry for Thanksgiving.

Fried Turkey, cornbread dressing, sweet potato casserole, green beans, corn casserole, collard greens, homemade yeast rolls, and a 3 layer chocolate trifle for dessert.

All made by moi.

It's a Sunday roast right?

With yams, whatever yams are

And without Yorkshire pudding ...you guys simply don't know what you're missing :D

A Smoked turkey, an oven roasted turkey, cornbread dressing, sourdough dressing, mashed potatoes, praline sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, ramen coleslaw (don't judge, it's a tradition), yeast rolls, home made cranberry relish, and at least three pies- pecan (my personal favorite), pumpkin, and buttermilk for sure. I'd my dad has his way I'll have to make a cherry one too.

Yup. That about does it. I'm already sick. Lol

All so YUM.

When should I be there? Imma not a cook, but I'll gladly set up & clean up.

My big sis is doing TGiving dinner this year. I feel it more an event than a dinner.

Baby girl you're welcome at my place anytime. Just know... You show up here I may never let you leave! Haha!;)

You know I'd always cook for you, sweetie. :D

ViVa....I:heart:you. :D

Does anybody make peanut butter pie? Sis is adding this to the dessert "bar".

I am of the opinion that this pie will still be sitting there when all the other pies have been sliced & NomNomNomed.

Turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, a variety of veggies, antipasto appetizer, roasted chestnuts, apple, pumpkin, chocolate cream, and banana cream pies. I'm stuffed just typing that, and I'm sure I'm forgetting something.

My daughter (19) is with me this year, too far to travel home. When she was little we were very non traditional due to numerous family commitments. So we flipped betwwen Homemade Italian fare or Mexican Fiesta. She asked for Italian ..so..
Salad, manicoti, stuffed shells, whole green beans. But gotta have pecan pie.

Fools, Shmiles, & Diskos...thank you vedy much for your posts. I might just be dropping by. :)
