Thread started on a Thursday, which is Thor's Day.

I'm thinking there is a massive thunderstorm and MC comments "It's just the god of thunder reminding us that it's his day."

Regular visitors know how I'm into thunderstorms and find them sexy.

This could even be a reply to this thunderstorm thread or that one or that one featuring anthros. But I'm intrigued by this particular setup, so wanted to have it stand out. Just can't see the rest of the "plot", the other character(s) and how the remark leads to hot sweaty sex.

Not that I'm likely to write it. Epic Norse mythology is not really in my wheelhouse. but that's what I thought about anthro stories and I Believe in Catgirls turned out okay. Darn you, @anthrodisiac.

So, does this go on my ideas list, which would require that it actually turn into an idea, or is it destined for a Plot Bunny Pen ?

In northern Scandanavia, in the 9th century as learned men chronicle it, was a tribe of folk called the Ynglingar.
As successful as any, these bold people forged a life out of wilderness harsher than most and were both feared and respected for hundreds of leagues around.
A close knit tribe, they shared what they had and all looked forward to the early spring when the rains began, for with the rain came the thunder and lightning which they saw as the god, Thor, praising them for their steadfastness and resiliance.
On any given Thursday, in the spring, when the rains fell and lightning creased the sky, the bonds of matrimony were set aside and all gathered in the longhouse for a wild debaucherous night of ale, meat, songs and vigorous sex with whomever they wished.

And tonight, was the first spring Thursday since Gunnar had come of age and he watched with bated breath as clouds gathered in the evening gloom.

When the storm is at its worst, a man who looks suspiciously like Chris Hemsworth shows up on the front porch.

how did this thread totally wander away from the thunder and lightning angle in my OP?

that was key to my core idea.
