Welcome new guy and welcome back to everyone else!

Had a wonderful lunch yesterday with my sister and her family. The smiles on little girl faces as they opened their presents was priceless! The little one who was my best friend last year is still hesitant around me but her big sister thinks I'm the coolest Auntie G cuz I have a yellow dodge ram.. lol.

What a long day!!! Just getting home.

Good morning Texas!

Was a long day yesterday with my trek over to Houston and back. The trip over was scary stuff: lots of rain, in the dark, couldn't see the lines on the road, truck hydroplaned and took both lanes for a few seconds, slow driving. The trip home was absolutely beautiful! The temps were in the low 70's, the sun was shining, ground was dry, and I hit a golden window where I only really had traffic issues on the 610 up to the 10 and again when I got almost to my exit to home.

my favorite way to celebrate is with a nice fire, a good drink, some great food, and the best of company.
