Thanksgiving.. hmmmm. The current management regime seems to see holidays as just another day of the week. I'm sure I'll be working all weekend that week.

I always make sure I take time off for Thanksgiving, even if I have to use my vacay time. It's the holiday I look forward to the most. Must be childhood memories......

Not an option lately at my place. No requests for time off at holidays. I'm saving my push back for the days off I want before Christmas. I've volunteered to work Christmas day ever since my youngest was a teen. I worked with another single mom that had a toddler. My girl understood patience. Got to be habit.
