Good Morning All. TGIF!!!

I read this morning that TxDOT closed three highway overpasses along Hwy 71, west of Bastrop due to icy conditions that caused a few accidents. WHAT??? I live near these and we had no precipitation, not even frost on the ground this morning. It is amazing how my fellow Texans (at least in this part of the state) are unable to drive safely on even a tiny bit of icy road.

TxDOT sanded the overpasses and has now reopened the roads.

I keep looking at my fireplace and then out onto the patio where the wood is stored. To friggin cold to go out there and bring it inside.
