Texas Roll Call v9!

Working all day today or will you get some downtime?

I bet the extra cash is nice.

I actually work a split shift 8-12 mornings and 3-7 evenings. Since I work from home it's not to bad. And it allows me time for a nap before I clock back into work. Naps are much needed since my battle with cancer got underway. :D

Naps are great! I don’t get enough.

I hope your day goes well, and try not to have too much fun.

Not me, I have to work out in it too often. I live in Texas for a reason, to avoid this cold as much as possible.

Im bored. Everyone is like it feels like 24 degrees out there. OMG man up. Not like you have to be put in it long to go somewhere. House to car. Car to building and reverse.

I'm not bundling up for a trip to the store, but I work outside. Here in west Texas, the wind it always blowing. I keep out of the cold as much as I can.

Good morning Texas! The coldest day of the year here in Dallas, as I'm sure it is in most of the state ... Keep safe and warm!

Slept in a little today. Off work, but several honey-dos to tend to. Right now, need a little breakfast.

L'aissez les bon temps roulez, y'all! I hope you've had a fun Mardi Gras!

Good morning Texas! Warming up finally in Dallas, should be able to do more outside. Hope everyone had a nice Mardi Gras ... I didn't do anything for it ... Have a great day!

Good morning Texas!
Spent yesterday over at MD Anderson, was actually a good day for a change. I was called back for every appointment if not right on time but up to 45 minutes early. Had a decent nurse who just let me sleep through my 'observation' hour after my treatment so I got a nap in. And had fun with the folks in supportive care, an appointment that was tossed into my schedule because one of the nurses misunderstood my request for a topical pain cream to use on my iv port access before they stuck the needle in and also prescribed tramadol at the same time. The pain killer tossed me over into the world of supportive care, all their questions ignored the potential of stress and anxiety I've been dealing with lately and just focused on pain management.. lol The look on their faces when I told them that I told the pharmacy that I didn't need or want the tramadol was sweet..
But overall a good day and it was still almost light out when I got home last night. :D

If you ever need anything while you are down in the med center. I would be happy to help. I should be down there at least 2-3 more months on my project at methodist.

Thank you, just might hold you to that.. Moving that direction this time next month and after the dust of unpacking settles I know I'll need a second set of hands to hang pictures. My way of coping with living so far from family is through pictures.

Picture hanging...
I can manage a tape measure, hammer, and a cordless drill.
