As to my hair - It's actually naturally curly. Well, I say curly but it's really more like wavy, semi-sorta curly, FRIZZY, super duper thick and very coarse. My dad has alot of Native Indian in him and I inherited that thick, coarse hair from him. Some days I absolutely love my hair and other days I want to shave it all off while I cry and throw a fit. Those are the days that I straighten it. For me straightening means washing, conditioning, applying straightening balm, anti-frizz spray, blow-drying (each and every strand or it will frizz), straightening with a flat iron (again each and every strand) and then applying biosilk frizz control oil. Phew! It sounds like alot of work because it is! But, anytime there is alot of humidity the curly thing just doesn't work..... *sigh* Now last night... I let it go curly and applied the right combination of products and my hair looked great, but it's VERY sporadic.... lol.. Sometimes I just long for a head full of thin, straight hair that I can get out of the shower with and just let it go! And it won't look like medusa in an hour!
