Noooo.. You have it backwards! It's PERFECT for amateurs! It's very user friendly and very versatile. You have the ease of a digital but the depth of an SLR.

I guess you would have to take alot of pics to make it worth the cost. But... we take ALOT of pics. We usually take atleast 150 pics when we do an erotic set. Not to mention the thousands that I take of my kids. (I make scrapbooks for them...)

I am sooo excited about this camera! I have a Nikon SLR that I love but I find it so UNuser friendly.

Anyway.... Give it another look..
