Ok, that fun little debate made me really want to play raven, I'm assuming that you planned that, you sneaky little manthing. Here's a profile, a bit brief on the character history side, but I've missed the founding member entry so I don't know how she is going to get involved.

Real Name: Raven Roth
Age: 19
Occupation: Student.

Skills

Raven can speak a multitude of languages, including German, Latin, Romanian, Ancient Sumerian, and Sanskrit. She is also quite knowledgeable on all matters mystic and magical, and while she is by no means on the same level as most other heroes, she is a capable and skilled fighter.

Gear/Equipment

Ravens mirror, a magical focus for meditation, and can be used to transport people directly in to her mindscape.

Powers/Abilities

The basis of Ravens power is her 'soul-self', which she can harness for a number of effects, such as telekinesis and the creation of basic solid constructs such as shields or claws. In addition, she can fly, teleport and has limited empathetic abilities, the last of which she can combine with her soul-self to attack the minds of others.

Ravens powers are tied to emotional control, without the proper control her powers aren’t as controllable either, but as her emotions run out of control her powers get much stronger. The downside however, is that if she ever looses control completely, the darker, demonic side of her takes over and its never guaranteed that she will be able to take control back.

Background

Raven is actually the daughter of a demonic entity by the name of Trigon, though this is a fact that isn’t widely known as Raven keeps it a well guarded secret, the only people that know are a few mystical experts who know of her father and her by extension.

Raven came to this world when she was young, hoping it would lessen her father growing influence over her, and it worked, though she was never truly rid of his effects. She initially tried to keep her head down, squatting in a condemned apartment helped with that, but time and time again she had the misfortune of being right next to the bad stuff when it happens, so after a while she just gave in and got herself a costume.

That said really? Basically you mooshed Batman, Ironman and possibly Lucy Lu from Kill Bill together and came out with female Ironman? At least its rather well written.

Ha ha, damn, discovered . That was kinda the thing I was going for, I simply couldn't be bothered coming up with another completely unique character (I was tempted by one with foresight,but that would just be too complex and normal magic is basically covered by Raven :L) and I happen to be a fan of Iron Man .

As to being founding members, we can just get worked in later on in the story, perhaps when we attack Slade's base, or maybe there's some sort of robbery and we all turn up . We'll work something out

Depending on what Slade and pals are doing, Raven could be contacted to assist in some mystical way to counteract some mojo they might be using, or if it was some kind of crazy tech thing your character could be called.

We're literally still in the planning stage of plan A, just walk in and if you want apologize for being late even though you aren't. At this point we just need to save this from stalling out since nobody has posted in days.

Well it seems as though we're mostly waiting on Jeff, he's had internet problems and NiteCrowe has also been unable to access. Although it does seem to have stalled a little, I don't think we need to worry too much. We still have at least 6 or 7 characters who appear to be willing to continue, we just need to get out of the base and do something first :L

The problem is that since all the characters are together, no one can really act without Jeffs input, which leaves the options of bickering in the meeting the whole time, everyone wandering off after a decision that Jeffs characters don't get a say on, or someone else taking control of the characters for a post to get the ball moving again. The first option is boring, the second not very good story wise and the third is mildly a dick move.

Plus, I cant post at all till Jeff gives the green light.

Ugh. I'm so sorry guys. As I said, the net at the hotel was crap, then my finances took a bigger shit on me and I had to pawn my laptop. We got a new apartment set up, and between both places and getting set up I had no choice.

My brother and I are now all moved into a new two bedroom apartment, had a bunch of friends pitch in to help us furnish it and make it a home, and we have our laptops out of pawn. No internet set up yet, I am posting at work right now. Basically, the plan is to get digital cable and internet set up within the next two weeks. My last few checks have had to go to pay back a loan from a friend and get some last minute stuff, but my next check on Friday the 13th (scary) is open other than paying the gas/electric bill, so I am going to try and set up installation for the following monday.

I understand if no one is interested in this rp anymore, but I have been dying to roleplay after a month with no net, so I am gonna be like a roleplay whore, haha. Hopefully we can salvage this game. Again, sorry about going AWOL. Don't hate me .
