Just heard on the news here that 70% of the troops on their Northern border have decided to retreat to Jallallabad, on their own initiative

Also, a Regional Commander tried to flee the country with 50 of his troops!

Boy, they sound keen...

Latest reports on the BBC report 1200 Taleban soldiers surrendering to the Northern Alliance.Unconfirmed of course so worth diddly squat.

On Channel 5, in the UK. I think you misunderstood when you read my post - they are not *retreating* North They were *in* the North, and have retreated South, *to* Jallallabad, a Taliban stronghold.

Not that at all, just don't see it anywhere on the BBC's web page. I would love to hear such grand news here. That was my point. I wanted to find it so I could read it.

I think after the way we should give Blair and Gulliani their own cable access show or something. I love these guys.
