Hi, All

Just heard on the news here that 70% of the troops on their Northern border have decided to retreat to Jallallabad, on their own initiative :D

Also, a Regional Commander tried to flee the country with 50 of his troops!

Boy, they sound keen...

They got themselves some Iraqi tanks.Ten reverse gears and one forward. In case they're attacked from behind.Hope they stay so inclined.

Hey DCL! Do you know how much those food parcels you guys are dropping WEIGH!!

Um, a question to the Taliban...

If Osama isn't willing to fight for this cause, then why the hell are the rest of you fighting?

Signed, someone safe and sound in his home in the U.S.

Where did you see the reports of them retreating. And to the north? Isn't that the area controlled by the Northern Alliance? Would they honestly allow the Taliban to retreat through their secured area? Would the Taliban be so stupid as to walk into the enemies camp?

Latest reports on the BBC report 1200 Taleban soldiers surrendering to the Northern Alliance.Unconfirmed of course so worth diddly squat.

Am listening to Radio Five Live the BBC Radio News channel at this very moment.Heard the report about 15 minutes ago.

On Channel 5, in the UK. I think you misunderstood when you read my post - they are not *retreating* North :) They were *in* the North, and have retreated South, *to* Jallallabad, a Taliban stronghold.

:)

What are they retreating from? Leaflets?

Aha! They were hard-core pornography leaflets - lots of FemDom stuff :D They are running scared from aggressive Western women who are armed with whips and spiked heels and not wearing very much at all!!

...actually, that would scare ME, too :D

Why does the new Iraqi Navy have glass bottomed boats?

So it can see the old Iraqi Navy.

PS.I don't think Kymberley believes us Brits...or am I just paranoid

Not that at all, just don't see it anywhere on the BBC's web page. I would love to hear such grand news here. That was my point. I wanted to find it so I could read it.

So since you two seem to have an inside scoop, keep us informed.

Thanks for the BBC link..

From there I got this:

"UK Prime Minister Tony Blair has used an interview with an Arabic satellite television station to rebut claims by Osama Bin Laden that the US-led action was aimed at the Islamic world."

I think after the way we should give Blair and Gulliani their own cable access show or something. I love these guys.

BBC has switched to a story about two cases of anthrax in USA,one fatal. They don't think it's linked to terrorism.I don't like the sound of biological stuff.

They both worked together for the Sun newspaper. The one man is still hospitalized while the other one died last weekend I believe.

You're welcome DCL. Glad to see you are recovering so nicely.
