Take a good look at what's going on in this scene.

I wish I could remember the exact site, but I can't.
I've looked for others, but haven't run across any.

A friendly reminder....

Guys...posting copyrighted images (images taken from other sites) is against Literotica rules...and can lead to lawsuits against Lit. I, for one, like coming to Lit and reading and posting...and would hate for the site to be shut down - which it very well can be.

Please don't post copyrighted images on Lit. Thanks!

Do you have permission to use those quotes in your signature line?

You may say (and many would agree) that I am not a "Lit Cop" and have no right to suggest that people not do what they do. This may be true. But I really like spending what little free time I have on Lit...and thought I would speak up due to the dangers of posting copyrighted images. I thought I did so in a friendly manner. If I offended you, you have my apology.

First of all, Lit does not prohibit posting quotes. That's the main issue....if I can direct your attention to Laurel's "sticky" at the top of the Am Pic section, Lit has been threatened with lawsuits over the posting of copyrighted images. She has asked that we not do so. I respect Laurel and I respect Lit - that is why I don't do so. If Laurel were to ask us not to quote in our sig lines, I would pull them in a heartbeat. Why? Again, respect for Laurel and Lit. She has provided us with a nice place...and it would be a shame if one of us did something to jeapordize its existance.

As to your question:

The first quote is from an old children's story and is in the public domain.

The second quote is from Spinal Tap. I have not posted pics, captures, or voice tracks from the film. If Rob Reiner, Christopher Guest, et. al. had a problem with me posting the quote, I would remove it immediately. Again, out of respect.

The third quote is from a Sprinsteen song. Again, I don't know of any law prohibiting my postion a quote from a section of a song. Should someone enlighten me, or if Mr. Springsteen should instruct me to do so, I would remove it.

The fourth quote was from a friend of mine here on Lit. The phrase is not a copyrighted work, but something she wrote to me on a thread. And yes, I have her permission.

Kind regards,

Nigel
