the world is full of fearful, ignorant people. the other day, the lady (great grandma) who watches the kids across the street came over while we were hanging out in the front yard. first small talk about the plants, i took the kids around and showed them different flowers and herbs. then ggma started talking about the mixing of the races, as if she needed to apologize for her great grandchildren for being half black. she loved the kids, but just thought the mixing did bad things to society. i just let her smoke and talk.
