No, but I know where you can get some if you ever get to the Midwest.
My personal favorite is cucumber/pickled squash.

Sushi rules!

I love sushi!! I have my college gf to thank for introducing me. Now I eat it whenever I can. Given the cost, I've even learned how to make it at home! (I get better every time.)

My personal favorite is anything with unagi (broiled freshwater eel), either alone as nigiri or with avocado and sesame seeds in a Rock 'n' Roll.

mmmmm...there's nothing quite like Happy Sushi Tummy...

*drool*

my friend introduced me to a sushi place that is 15 bucks all you can eat. I can eat a lot fo it. I can make it at home too but the rice is really dificult

You really have to cruise for it around here. Rednecks aren't terribly hip on anything not deep-fried.

Get a rice steamer ... it really works. I spent two years in Japan a decade ago. Absolutely loved the place, hated who I was with …. But that would be a different thread.

:D

I can do all the cuts and rolling stuff and everythign what with culinary school training. I just love the whole experience or eating at the sushi place where the waitresses take my dishes away and bring me lots of tea and soup.

I liked the Fresh Fish Special--at Navy Pier.

Whatever happened to Robert Gordon?

Wasabi (japanese horseradish, the green stuff) is great! It'll cure what ails ya'!! (Especially if what ails you is sinus congestion.)

$15 all you can eat sounds like Todai. Great restaurant! There are locations all over the U.S.

It's great to see so many sushi fans!

OMG!

Now It's 1 In The Morning And You Have Made The Pregnant Chick Crave Bowlfuls Of Miso Soup!!!!!! Rudeness!!!!!

LOL:D

Technically...

... "sushi" refers to the rice, not the fish. There are a lot of sushi rolls which are totally vegetarian, often even vegan. Others contain meats which are cooked, such as unagi (broiled eel) and tempura (lightly breaded and fried). Some contain meats which are often eaten raw other places, including kani(?) (krab, imitation crabmeat), maguro(?) (tuna), smoked salmon, and ebi (shrimp). You might also try inari (fried tofu pockets).

Point is, you can create a delicious sushi feast and never once eat raw fish if you prefer!

Feh, raw tuna, that's nothing. Raw salmon is harder to get down because of that extra fishiness.

My favorites are unagi and oshinko (pickled radish).

Mmm food is right. I should have restocked at the dining hall, but I didn't and now it's closed and I'm hungry!
