Julia heard him yelling good bye to her in an annoyed tone of voice. Obviously he was either angry because she had to leave or wanted her to leave so he could be with his companion. She chose the latter as his reason and turned and walked away still wondering if she was making a mistake. No, she thought, strangers were a danger to her and they were no exceptions. She wandered for a while until she found a road and took it. When her mind would wander to the two people she met she pushed it away. It was over and that was that. But still, it would have been nice to stay at least the night.
